    Great mountain trail riding tire.
I wanted to get some time on these before I reviewed them. I live in western Montana and we ride a lot in the mountains, between 6000 and 9500 feet. So this short review is for that terrain, not deep mud holes or swamps. This tire has been great so far. About 150 miles on it, in rock, dirt and spring runoff mud and snow. It has been a joy to use the tire. I was really surprised with the trail traction and handling that this tire has. I wore down a set of Mud Lite AT tires to about 40 percent, and had had it with them. Even when they were new, they never really bit into the dry rocky and dry loam/pine needles worth a hoot. I tried to like them, but just couldn't do it in the hunting season snow and rock. I am in love with the Bear Claws. We threw rock, snow, mud, pine needles, steep angles, and did it all in two wheel drive with no issues at all. I squeezed through some granite rocks, hard enough to scrape the yellow Bear Claw lettering off the sides of the tires, and not a single cut. I was bent thinking jeeze I just put these on and now I am stuck on this trail rock slide and I am going to cut them day one. Nope. Tough sidewalls. This past Saturday my son and I were skidding short logs from a wind storm blowdown in the timber in our back yard. These tires dug and dug in 4wd low, and just kept dragging. Didn't float on top of the loam/dirt like the ITP's always did. It is a great utility tire for around the ranch, hunting, in the hills and does pretty darn good in moderate mud also. Hunting season will tell with the deep snow, but it did great in shallow 12" snow that we were playing in. Shipping was fast, price was right there with the discount stores. Packaging was a little goofy as stated before in reviews, but I let them sit a couple days in the sun before having them mounted and all was well. I don't write reviews much, so if I took the time to write this review, you can be assured that I was impressed with the service, price and the ability of the tire. One last thing for the older Polaris guys running the 25x11x10 rear tires. The 25x12.5x10 tires fit with good clearance, and look and drive well. They look a little beefier in the pictures, but trail well and the added width bites ruts well.

I have 25/10/12 on front and 25/11/12 on rear just put new bear claw on front I want to replace rear bear claw don't have 25/11/12 what size can I go to?
    Michael M on Aug 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The best and closest size you could go to would be a 26x11-12. This should work fine for your machine but it is always recommended that you enter your machine to make sure they will fit.
I have a 2013 Honda Forman and it has25-8-12 and 25-10-12 would it help or hurt if put 26-9-12 and 26-11-12 on my atv ???
    A shopper on Apr 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Not sure of your riding skill level or what you use your Honda for...You may notice a difference in power and handling. It will sit a little taller so the center of gravity and handling characteristics will change. You may notice a slight change in turning radius. It will have a slightly bigger footprint so the weight of the quad will not exert as much ground pressure as before. That will mean less compaction and a little less traction. Not sure if you will notice the difference.
I am looking for a bear claw in a 22-10-9 do they make this tire I can't find one?
    A shopper on May 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, Kenda does not make the Bear Claw tire in a 22x10-9. However, they do have a 22x12-9. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
    Atlre these tires good?
    A shopper on May 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Great tires on my 350 Honda Ranger. We ride off road on our property on old logging roads over 1 and 1//2 to a creek and ride down creek. Great tires.
I have a 3 wheeler Honda would these for if the current ones are size At 22/12.5-9?
    A shopper on Nov 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you are running 22/12.5-9 you could run 22/12-9. The 12 or 12.5 in your case is the width of the tire in overall inches when mounted. So if you ran a 22/12-9 the overall tire width would be a half (1/2) inch less than what you currently have. You should not have any problems. These are awesome tires by the way I run them on the rear of both of my 1985 Honda Odyssey FL350r's.
Do they come with valve stems?
    Tim K on Oct 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't recll them coming with valve stems but if you take them to a place that installs tires they can put new ones in for you. My place only charged me 5.00 a tire to install and balance and put them on.
If I have a 22x7x10 tire now, can I use a 22x8x10 tire on the same rim?
    A shopper on Feb 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The 22 is the height the 7 is the width and the 10 is the rim. If you go to 8 width you it gives you a half inch wider tire on each side. There could be a little rounding of the inflated tire on the out side tread. you are making
increased width in the tire but not the rim. Not sure it will be enough to worry about. make sure it won't hit part of the machine.
Is it possible and easy to change my old worn tires (at home) for your new tires if I purchase them or do I need to go to a shop and have them professionally mounted? Also, do they need to be balanced or just mount and go? I know it takes a shop machine to do vehicle tires, is it the same for ATV tires? Thanks in advance for you help!
    RK S on May 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You can do it yourself, but tire shops are fairly inexpensive and they will make sure the bead is set properly. And Bear Claws rock!
Are kenda bear claw 4 wheeler tires tubeless ?

    A shopper on Aug 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: yes, the 12 is the width so it will just be a wider tire
I have a 2005 bruin 350 4x4 with super swampers right now. Was thinking about investing into these because of how cheap. Wondering if I should get these or stick with my swampers?
    Chase f on Jul 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I had first put these on my 2005 eiger -- liked them so well that I put them on my 2015 ranger crew diesel. Have been able to handle everything I have thrown at them. Will put them on the next machine as well
    Will the 26x9 12 fit on a26x8 12 ?
    wayne k on Apr 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes it’s just an 1” wider but SAME rim size
Are the 22x12-8 Bear Claws.. Actually 12" Wide? Reason I ask is, My Vintage Terra Cat Mini Bike Frame is 12" Wide. I want to put the largest tire I can on it. So, do theses tires Run smaller then the size Stated? ..I don't want to have to send theses Back.
    patrick d on Mar 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You are misreading the size coding. 22 is overall diameter of mounted tire. 12 is diameter of the wheel "rim" and 8 is width of tire (mounted).
    I have 24 X 9.5 x 10 tires on the front and 24 x 9.5 x 10 tires on a Gator HPX. Can I use the Kenda 23 x 7 x 10 on front and 23 x 10 x 10 on the rear?
    A shopper on Apr 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes as long as you keep tire height the same width doesn't matter, you will loose some ground clearance however
    is it a 6 ply ?
    A shopper on Feb 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this tire is a 6 ply.
can this be shipped to canada? and if yes, does the free shipping after 75$ still apply
    Keith M on Jan 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this can be shipped to Canada. Unfortunately, the free shipping offer is only for the 48 contiguous states.
Will the 25x12.5x10 fit a Honda Rancher TRX350TE (2wd). The oem tire is 25x11x10. I have only found 2 pictures of the fitment on the net, however I do not know if wheel spacers are needed and if the exhaust heat shield has to be modified for fit. Is there adequate clearance for mud or does the mud cake on the exhaust? I do want to avoid purchasing a larger 12" wheel because I believe a lot of sidewall is actually a good thing. Also, if anyone has run these larger meats on the TRX350T 2wd, can you provide feedback on the tires? Thanks.
    David A on Dec 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes they will fit with a stock wheel the tire will only blow out to about a half inch wider
    Front tires at 24-8-10 prices?

Have a 1998 Polaris Sportsman 500 with rear tires 25x11x10. Will the Kenda Bear claw 25x12.5x10 fit?
    A shopper on Oct 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You would have to check the clearance on the internal parts of the machine. If it has independent rear suspension you would just need to make sure there is enough clearance for the tire.

    Stephen O on Jun 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Since we do not carry this tire in the 26x8-12 I'd suggest getting the 26x9-12. It will only be one inch wider which shouldn't be too much of a difference.
What's the maximum load rating on tires?
