    Great tires!
Good set of tires have almost 500 miles on them with little to no wear. My stock tires on my yxz 1000 didn’t even last a day before the sidewall got a hole.

I ride in desert / mountain terrain. Sand washes to rocky trail climbs to asphalt, these tires rock! Currently have 1500 miles on them and expect to get another 1000 before getting another set. Best tire I've ever owned hands down.

    Awesome tires
I only have about a hundred miles on these tires (all desert riding) but so far they are great. Several friends have these tires on their side-by-sides and they too are very satisfied.

Specification wise they looked great. Reality is that they are very stiff. We were looking for DOT approved tires. They are very rough riding on asphalt. We ballanced them and they were still rough.

    They look good though.

    Great desert tire.
Got these tire to replace a heavy lug tire for a better ride. Had the tires mounted about 5 days ago and have put only about 250 miles. I've run them in deep sand washes, rocky washed, extremely steep rutted and rocky trails (both up and down) and easy 2 track trails. The performance in all cases was without issue. They did required some shock and tire pressure adjustment to optimize the ride but once there, they are great. I went from 26" to a 27" without any problems as a matter of fact the speedo now reads within .5 mph of the GPS which is an unexpected bonus. I've run them a short distance on blacktop and they are as smooth as my truck.

    Piece of mind
Now, I loved the stock tires on the 2017 Can Am. They grabbed the dirt and the traction was great. But there is very little protection. I want piece of mind that if I am an hour or more from help, I'm not going to be "dead in the water". GBC Kanati Mongrel 10ply's offer that piece of mind. They are strong and sturdy. They do not grab like the original tires. But that makes driving a little more fun, more drifting driving around corners. Overall, these tires have the best value out there and offer strength in tough terrain.

I have a 2013 rzr 900 xp4 and would like to put the 27x11-12 all the way around. Will they fit ok on the front without rubbing?
    KIRK P on Aug 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We don't have that type of specification here at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. To make sure they will fit, take a measurement of the clearance from the front tire that's on it now towards the inside of the machine. Then add the additional width of this new tire to see if it will interfere with anything on your machine.
    weight for the 32x10x14?
    A shopper on Aug 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I checked into this for you and it looks like we have this listed at 28 pounds.
what size width wheel do you need for the 27x11x14?
    A shopper on Dec 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I originally had 27x9 on front and 27x11 on rear with 7" wide 5/2 offset. At jamboree, hit a rock really hard. Bent tie rod link, cut tire near bead, and dented rim. The tire never went down riding on it for 2 days like this! Have since gone to 27x11 all the way around to give more sidewall protection for rims. I do tend to air mine up more than most (15 psi), but my machine with wife and I and gear is around 2400 lbs. Love these tires!
I purchase 4 Mongel 30×10×14 10 ply what should I run in air pressure ? (The trails here is hard pack, loose gravel, sandy soil, climbing over rocks & boulders, street riding 5 to 7 miles )
    Dan M on Jun 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 16 psi if your are going to run in a dirt road and if you are in a mountain road I recommend less air around 12 psi
Are these the same size as the 8 ply? I need to replace one of my tires but its a 8 ply 27x9-12. Will this match up ok?
    Jordan O on Mar 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I would say yes! I say that because when I first inquired about this tire, they only had 2 10 ply in stock. They wanted to ship me 2ea. 10 ply and 2ea. 8 ply. I waited until I could get all four 10 ply.. But I dothink they are the same tire..
I have a 2010 800s with 27x9-12 in front and 27x11-12 rear. Have a 2in lift. Should I stay with the same size in 10ply or go to 14 wheels?
    A shopper on Sep 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I guess that depends on what you are doing with it? If you're riding in a lot of rocks I would stay with the stock rims. You'll have less rim damage and more side wall flex. If you're going bigger than 28s you might want the 14" rims due to availability of bigger sizes. Keep in mind that as you go with bigger tires you will suffer performance and eventually need to do lower gears and clutch adjustments. Usually going up 1 or 2 sizes from stock doesn't affect performance too much. Hope this helps!
Is this tire a run flat tire?
    Todd F on Dec 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have these on a Polaris General. I have one currently with the rim sitting on a collapsed tire as I type this and another one that leaks out over a 2 week time. You could not drive the UTV until they are inflated. I would have to say they are not run flat tires.
All the reviews I'm reading on these tires are for UTV. Is this tire also recommended for ATV's? I run a Kawasaki Brute Force 750 - 2012. I plan on purchasing for the Hatfield McCoy trail riding in VW, is this recommended or should I go with the Big Horns? And approximately how many miles will these hold up before they wear riding moderately.
    Christopher G on Jul 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They look great, ride is awesome, some vibration at high speeds(50mph) on the street, tire wear is very slow I drive about 80m miles on dirt sand and street every weekend since 5 months that I got them and no exaggerated wear, I had gbc dirt commanders and the wear was very obvious at a short time of use, if the plan is to use them on dirt, sand or pavement this are great!!!
If I was to purchase these tires how much would it be to bring my machine and have them switched to my factory rims?
    Robert D on May 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If you bring in just the rims without your old tire on them it will be $5 per tire to mount.

If you bring your old rims with the old tires still on them and we have to remove them to mount the new ones it will be $10 per tire.

Finally, if you bring in your machine and we have to remove the wheels off of the machine to mount the new tires it will be $15 per tire.
    Will these fit a 2016 rzr xp 1000 ?
    A shopper on Sep 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: GBC offers these tires in a wide range of sizes to fit many applications. Take a look at the stock size on your machine and you can order that size of tire and it will fit.
What is the thickness of the tread?
    GAYLE B on Aug 29, 2016

    what mile an hour tire?
    Shirley S on Jan 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Not sure how to answer that one. I can tell you I have not given it much thought driving from my house in North ogden and up over the divide then over Monte and around the pin view dam at sometimes 65 mph and on top of monte as fast a the machine would go (1000) commander I love the tire no sway or loose feeling at high speeds. I have no regrets. hope that helps
is the 27 inch tire a true 27 inches tall ?
    A shopper on Dec 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Really depends on pressure and weight of machine. I have 4 27x11 on my side by side and they measure just over 26". I've abused the heck out of mine and I'm impressed at how they have held up. Had them since ATV Jamboree in Richfield this year. Only issue I have is they seem slightly out of round when traveling on pavement. Not noticeable when off pavement.
Does the Mongel run true to size?
    Gary S on Nov 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. All around great tire
how do they wear on asphalt ?
    A shopper on Jul 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Looks like I'll get more miles out of them than I got with the big horns I had before. Not all my riding is on ashfalt, there is a lot of rock, sand and dirt trails too. Like them.
i have a honda foreman fourtrax 500 how will this tire be for riding on pavement and dirt roads?
    A shopper on Jan 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I pretty much only ride pavement and back roads with these tires. Have roughly 3000 miles on them and they have held up great.
What is the load capacity of these tires?
    Doug Z on Sep 7, 2017
    BEST ANSWER: Hi,
The load rating depends on the size. If you look at kanati tires search Products and Mongrel and you will see all of the specs for each tire size. I bought 27x11.0R12 10 ply and they have a load rating of 855 lbs. They are a fantastic tire; smooth, quiet and lots of grip on my Canam Defender.
What is the tread depth of this tire??
    A shopper on Aug 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Got 9,800 miles on a 8 ply set on my Yamaha YXZ 1000. Just bought the 10 ply Mongrels. Not sure on the tread depth but could be around 1/2 inch.
I have a lot of sand and desert driving and am looking for all terrain tires. Can anyone suggest if 14" rim size is better or 15"? I have a RZR XP 1000 with 2 seats. Size I'm after is30x10 and rim size is debatable. Also do they cause any loss in power?
    Zain M on Jan 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: There are a very stiff sidewall tire. Not sure that the 1" rim size will be noticeable. We have sold most of ours for street use, and finally decided they are much quieter, and weare better than factory tires, while maintaining good traction in most conditions
How true to size are the 32x10-15 ? Because i kno the 27s run about 25.5 at 10psi
    Ryan F on Jul 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: At 14psi mine are approximately 31.5 tall. Absolutely the best tire I’ve owned. They perform well in sand, dirt, and rocks. I’ve put about 1200 miles on this set and couldn’t be happier. Most of my buddies are wanting some
does anyone use the 27x9x12 and 27x11x12 on a 2016 or newer stock Kawasaki Teryx 800 2 seater do you have any rubbing issues? or any issues with the tires?
    Michael B on Jan 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't know about a teryx. Mine are on a can am commander. If your stock tires are a 27 you shouldn't have any trouble. The tires are a little narrower than the factory width. A great tire. Handles well. Wears great. A little stiffer ride.
What is the Speed Rating of this tire? Many sites say N@87mph but Kanati site says J@63mph. Which is it? Specifically the 32-10-15 size.
    Doyle S on Aug 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I’ve run thes tires down the hwy at 70 plus mph. Mine are 32x10x15 on Method beadlocks. I run mostly in the desert, and maintain 14 lbs pressure. This seems to be for me
How do these measure when mounted?? I'm looking at some 27x14s and am wondering if the height will be 27
    jared m on Aug 5, 2017

Will these 27x9-14 fit a 2016 Can-Am Outlander XT that comes stock front size of 26x8-12?
    Chad S on Aug 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No. The rims are different sizes. You have a 12 inch rim(inner diameter). These tires are for a 14 inch rim. If you buy new 14 inch rims, then these will fit just fine. Make sure the lug pattern is correct. 27x9x14 - The first number (27) is the overall height in inches. The second number (9) is the overall width. The third number (14) is the size of the hole in the tire where the rim goes.

will thw 30´s fit a stock 2017 commander without rubbing issues?
    Raul F on Jan 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We can only guarantee fitment on stock sizes. However, you can measure the clearance you have under your machine and make sure you will have enough room to go up to a 30. Measure the clearance with your tires straight and your tires turned all the way to the left and right making sure the extra height will not rub on anything.
