Breaking a bead on the trail isn’t easy. Motion Pro’s BeadPro Aluminum Tire Bead Breaker and Lever Tool not only breaks bead for you, it combines multiple tools into one lightweight and easy to store package. The BeadPro works by using both tools in combination to create a scissoring motion that pushes away from the wheel lip, compressing the tire down and breaking the bead. Both tools are made from forged 7075 T6 aluminum alloy so they’ll easily stand up to the not so delicate task of mounting tires. That’s especially important because each tool doubles as a tire spoon/iron thanks to the double-ended design. All in all, the BeadPro does the job of three tools (bead breaker and two spoons) in a convenient package that only weighs 9 ounces. Not too shabby.

    Specs:
  • Breaks bead on street and off road tires
  • Instructions included
  • Comes as set of two tools
  • Tire spoons integrated onto each end
  • Only weight 9 ounces for both tools
  • Forged 7075 T6 aluminum alloy
  • Crossguards on handles keep hands from riding forward

Best on bike tire irons available.
I have been using these for about three years. I have changed and patched probably 35 tires with them and they work very well. As with any tire irons practice and proper technic are key. Highly recommended for your tool bag.

awsome
very light weight dont take up much space have changed 6 tires with these spoons and only sign of wear is some of the anodizing has worn off. Most of the time the tires were big adventure bike tires and it amazed me how well they will break the safety bead. I have pried hard with them thinking they would bend but they didnt. Any off road adventure these need to be in your tool kit

Much more stout than I expected
I thought these might have been a little flimsy, but I was wrong. Can use them to easily change a tire in the field as I was able to test them one already with a front flat. A little pricey, but worth it for their function and light weight.

Very useful
Was changing tires from street to dirt and had a tubeless tire on a tubed rim...this tool made a hard job a lot easier. Worked as advertised...maybe even better. One use took care of tubed tire and only three locations got an nasty tubeless broken free. Light weight and useable as tire spoons means less stuff to drag around. Gave my old steel spoons to a bud. Don't leave home with out them!

Great bead breaker, Ok tire iron.
The breaker works amazingly well. It's great for the trail pack and getting things taken care of. The iron on the other hand is just ok. It does work. I think MP should have designed them slightly better. Either a little more hook or the little edge that's on the backside to grip the tire. Either way it's a great tool. Minor room for improvement, but works as intended and will keep using them.

Another great product from Motion Pro
Got this bead breaker to use when out adventuring on my r1200gs. Used it to break the bead on a set of Heidenau tires. Very stiff side walls. Hard to get on or off with a full tire changer. With some patients and following the directions on the box you can fairly easily break the bead on any tire. Also doubles as a set of tire irons. Very light weight and will fit nicely in a fanny pack.

I will have these in my emergency tire repair kit always.

Not cheap but not cheaply made.

do they work on atv tires?
Duane H on Apr 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The spread is not long enough to pop an ATV tire off the bead. I purchased a cheap tire changer from Harbor Freight for my ATV tires. The Motion Pro BeadPro works really well on Motorcycle tires, especially in the field.
