    Details

The MSR Tire Changing Stand is a full service stand that eases the job of changing tires at home, in the shop, or trackside.

MSR has simplified the tire changing process by adding adjustable height, easy tool-less breakdown, and compatibility with wheels 10 inches and up using one of the two support rings. Wide feet prevent wobbling while you leverage and the threaded center rod holds your tire down during changing. These considerations add up to make the MSR Tire Changing Stand a crucial tool when swapping tires is regular occurrence.

      Specs:
    • 8 inches of adjustable height so you don’t have to bend over
    • Includes one small and one large tire support ring
    • Threaded center rod holds tire down while changing
    • Works with wheels 10 inches and up
    • Tool-less break down with quick detach pins for easy storage
    • Wide feet prevent wobble
    • NOTE: Does not include tire changing tools

tire stand comes in handy. no more bending over, and makes it so easy. i have done tubes, bibs and tubliss on this stand and i couldnt be happier. only down play on this is the rubber around the ring ripped easy but what do you expect when your doing tons of tire changes. but other than that product is awesome

    Good for the price
I like this as it helps from leaning over and it stands to my weight. It needs a bead breaker but for the price it does a fine job and its durable. I only changed 1 tire so well see if that rubber around the metal holds up.

    Good Stand
Great stand for the price. Plenty adequate. You can get a better ( heavy duty, more stable) stand for $150 but a bit of overkill for number of tires I do a year. Way better than working off buckets or the ground. My high mileage back is worth it.

    A must have
This stand has saved my shop from complete destruction. I was doing it the old fashion way and this thing is awesome. It's very sturdy and just what I needed.

Why oh why did I wait this many years to buy one of these stands? This thing makes changing tires soooooo much easier.

    Good Tire Changing Stand
I've never owned a tire changing stand before and this thing makes changing tires a breeze compared to my old method of wrestling a tire carcass on the garage floor. I've changed about 6 tires using this so far and I really don't have any complaints. Given that I'll probably change

BEST ANSWER: What's the wing nut down by the feet for? Just got my stand in the mail with no parts list or even directions.
How does this compare to the TUSK one which is $40 cheaper? They look almost the same.

BEST ANSWER: I can't answer the question about the Tusk stand as I haven't seen one in person to compare? I can say that the MSR stand is very well built and is a life saver compared to the ground or work bench. I take it with me on all of our bike trips, it has become a part of my tools in the trailer. I have purchased several Tusk items and most of the time they work just fine for the weekend warrior, neither would probably stand up in a business setting. Sorry I wasn't much help, but I would recommend getting one or the other. MM
