Great Tire
Wasn't sure I would like the tire compared to some of the newer tire offerings out there but this tire just straight up works. Has nice tall lugs, fairly soft tacky rubber, and a flexible casing. I'm sure there are tires that surpass this tire for certain conditions but if you ride areas that are constantly changing and varied this one is tough to beat. Price is fantastic, wear is average, and traction great while staying predictable. I will buy again for sure.

Maybe?
I bought this tire based on Enduro recommendations. Note that this is a directional tire and its definitely mounted in the proper direction. It seems pretty squirrelly; much more so than the Dunlop I had on prior. Its squirrelly in the sand, gravel, and tree roots. But totally solid grip on the rocks. I ride all types of terrain, so would prefer something a bit more consistent, so the jury is still out on whether I would recommend it. I have the VE-35 for the front and it behaves the same way.

Good tire, but there are better choices
These tires are fine, they didn't do anything wrong, but I prefer the battlecross X30 or X40

Hooks up well in the woods
I like this tire, I ride in the Oregon woods aka dry rocky steep and loose. The lugs are soft and 9/ 16" tall the tire digs in and hooks upwitch is what i need. I would not MX with this tire keep it in the woods.

How well does this tire perform on sand dunes?
Derek D on Feb 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Howdy. I live in the Mohave desert of western Ariona. We have a c ombination of terrains here anc sand is one of them. The tire works well in soft sand and sugar sand but it is not what would be called a sand dune tire. Ifg I was to ride only in sand I would reccommend a paddle tire. the irc gaver me approx 3,000 miles of all types of ground from hard rocks in trsils (colichi rcok, lava, riv er rocks) sand washes which have both rock and sand and gravel or dirt trails. Where we ride out here is liken to the dark side of the moon or somewhere on Venus. the roughest toughest trails imaginable and the IRC 33/35 combo is my choice
Do they run true to size (width) or do I need to order a larger size than normal?
donald b on Mar 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I run the 5.1 x18 on my KTM 450 exc. It is a wide tire. I ordered one of the other sizes by mistake and they seemed considerably narrower. If you want wide, go with the 5.1. Great tire, great traction, and pretty good tread life.
Do these work well with the tubliss system?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, I'm running tubliss in the back IRC M5B for many years, plenty of sidewall strength to run low air
pressure (5lbs) The VE 33 was good as well , but i keep going back to the VEO M5B, great tire in all widths
