Solid tire but pricey
Outstanding front tire. Only used the front one. Used it in desert /hard pack and rock and roots 'll over CA for about a year before major chunking and had to replace. Pricey but great tire.

I like the Sedona mx907 Wich is cheaper so I won't buy again. But if you want a great tire this is one of them.

Best front tire
Best front tire for Northeast woods. Doesn't deflect or kick out. Very predictable. Inspires confidence.

Good overall but no confidence in ruts
Good traction. Had a lot of issues with this tire wanting to climb out of ruts. Seemed to work best on dirt with just a little loose layer on top.

Best front tire for the NorthEast
This has been my go to tire for the last 10 years or so. Only way to go in the NorthEast. There are other tires that last a little longer, but they dont handle nearly as well as the M59. Once the tire starts to shed knobs, its done and handling goes downhill quickly. When the tire is fresh it is very predictable, forgiving, and inspires confidence.

Sweetest front tire ever!
This Bridgestone M59 front tire just ROCKS. Best sticking and predictable all around tire ever used. There are some tires that are better in certain conditions but when you just want to run one tire everywhere it can't be beat. This is coming from an ex state off road champion and owner of over 40 motorcycles. Hope this tire is never discontinued.

My new "go to" front tire...
Have run a number of intermediate front tires in East coast singletrack trails and enduro/HS courses. Most recently, the Pirelli XCMS, Pirelli MXMS, Pirelli MX Xtra, Dunlop AT81F. I've found the M59 to have the best possible combination of positive traits in comparison to those tires: Predictable at the limits of traction/lean angle, you will know when it's going to let go; it doesn't just push (or knife) without warning. I've heard a complaint that it doesn't shed mud well, but as long as you can get your speed up at some point after it packs, I think it clears quickly. Absorbs rocks/roots well, and doesn't shear off or chunk knobs. Running at 11psi, and no pinch flats to date. Wear has been decent too, and it still works well with 20 hours on it...

Gold Standard
In the Rockies, where I ride, they are the gold standard. I run them with TuBliss, 10 to 12 psi. Great grip, if severe enough and they begin to slide, it's very gradual and often comes back on track.

Best front for New England terrain
What can I say about this tire that hasn't already been said? It's awesome. I run it with Tubliss. It responds well at several different pressure ranges. I've run it low in the rocky/rooty stuff and a little higher on the clean, flowy trails/tracks and it's always been great. Hooks up well, doesn't deflect and tracks incredible. A great buy!
