Great hard terrain tire
I have about 700 miles on the tire so far and it is holding up very well. About 30% blacktop and the rest hard pack rocky Colorado mountain trails. I haven't had a chance to try it in any soft terrain yet but it does really good in the hard stuff. The tire is a bit heavy and a little expensive but overall seems like a good buy.

The tire I ordered was the desert H/T, but I received the enduro S/T. I'm not real happy about that, but I'm gonna try it out and see how well it performs. I'm running tubliss and only run about 5-10psi and the front still seems like it wants to walk in slow and high speed corners.

Great tire
I put this tire on a 2016 beta 500. I just did an 80 mile dual sport with a mix of quite a bit of single track, mud, dirt roads and a lot of rock. Quite a mix. Terrible tire in mud but it’s not a mud tire. Overall very happy with the tire. Handled great. Awesome traction I was surprised especially on steep inclines with a lot of loose rock/shale.
I only have the one ride on it so we shall see what the life span is.

Great fat tire with great tread life. Hooks up to rock, mud and roots. Has lasted 2+ years of riding. It's a good tire and won't let you down.

big tire, big value.
Had been running this tire on my 08 Honda XR650L, Now on my 18 KTM 500EXC-F... Great Tire in Southern CA Mountains and desert, and Baja Mexico. A bit of noise on the Freeway but its a knobby, so its expected. works great in sand, hard pack, mud, rocks, and have no complaints, stiffer sidewalls and heavy duty construction helps avoid pinch flats and rim damage. Have run this tire with a Tubliss System and it worked great. Minimal chunking out of lugs on the hard terrains., there new and improved compounds extend wear. Overall... a Great Tire.

My new favorite dual sport tire!
******This review applies to a set of Tractionators. ********Decided to fit these tires for an upcoming COBDR trip. I have previously run a set of shinko 805s, a rear shinko 705, and three sets of metzeler karoo 3s, all on my 06 DR650. I thought i had found the percect balance of price, traction, and tread life with the karoos. They are great tires, especially when rocky mountain is doing the rebate for them! But i wanted a knobbier profile that wouldntbreak the bank and would last... Enter the tractionator desert h/t. After having ridden about 500 miles of pavement, gravel, dirt, mud, rocks, and roots, i have found my new favorite tire. Tread wear seems good so far. Traction offeoad is great, and i havent even aired them down below 16 psi yet. They dig really well off road. The only downside is the weight. These tires are noticeably heavier than the karoos they replaced. To me that isnt a deal breaker bexause the added weight comes from a much beefier carcass. This no doubt aids in preventing pinch flats and thats a tradeoff im happy to make. If you are looking for a nasty street legal offroad tire, then look no further. If cost is a major factor, the karoo 3s are a great option as well

Bad ass tire
Awsome traction on dirt , handles good in the twsties, has good grip on dry black top , howls a bit and follows ruts like old school mud tires do on Jeeps

Terrible traction, good puncture resistance.
Terrible grip good puncture resistance. Had perfect desert conditions just after a light rain first ride with this brand new tire. Tire had terrible traction with perfect tacky dirt might as well have been dry and dusty; my bald torn up at81 would have worked better. This tire ruined the ride and the rare perfect desert dirt after a rain. I would throw it in the trash if i didnt pay so much for the tire. I have to admit it has good puncture resistance. But, otherwise one of the worst tires i have ever ran grip wise. I ran tire pressures between 6psi-15psi and the only difference was bump compliance, however traction was about the same. ????

Lives up to the hype
This is my second set of MotoZ. Love the tires and the brand. They lasted over 2k miles on my 500 exc. 90% dirt. 15 psi is great for dirt, and road to dirt. No need to stop and change air pressure at the trail.

Any first hand experience on using this rear tire on a big adventure bike (KTM 950SE)?
Ulrich B on Oct 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, have it currently on my 990, XRR and XRL. Got 4500 miles on the last one and still had some tread left. Ride mostly mountain roads, gravel, rock, it handles great with low air pressure. Wears great on the pavement but it is loud. I'd say the best tire for the money I've ever had.
Will a 140 fit on a 2018 500exc-f without anything rubbing? Thanks
Robert K on Jul 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Robert, I would not recommend the 140/80-18 for the 500. I would suggest the 130/90-18. It is a lot better fit.
What is the largest size of motoz tractionator desert h/t that will fit the rear of a Suzuki drz 400?
A shopper on Feb 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 130/90-18 would be my choice for drz 400. The larger tire will fit, but the drz will handle better with the 130/90. The drz 400 doesnt make huge power, and putting an oversized tire on it will slow the response time down as well. So go with the 130/90, would be my suggestion.
What rear size would be best for xr400.... MOAB riding ? Stock is 110 100 would wider be better ?
TONY N on Nov 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Definitely stick with oem size or possible even a 100/100. The terrain in Moab is so varied they work best. I run a 110/100 on my KTM 530 and it's oem is a 140. My DRZ called for a 120 and I ran the 110 there too. 110 is a good all around size for off road. I ran a 110 on my old 97 XR too. Enjoy, Tractionator is an awesome tire.
Does anyone run the 130 Desert H/T on a WR450F? I have a 2013 and I'm wondering about chain rub. Thanks.
TOKI W on Oct 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I had lots of free space on the KTM we installed it on. For what its worth, many of the tire manfuctures seem to very liberal (small and large!!) on the actual tire size when fully inflated. Unless you install an adventure tire on the bike (note Rocky has a way to verify acceptance of a tire to fit a bike) a 450 should be able to almost any size (100-140) tire to your bike. We have had many tires that seemed large and small for the width specified on the tire!!!
What will it cost for frnt and back tires on a 250 yz for all terrain?
A shopper on Sep 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Once you enter in your tire size it will tell you what price each tire is. For a grand total add the items to your cart and it will show you your total on the left side of the cart.
what is the largest size of motoz tractionator desert h/t will fit on ktm 525xc 2006 ?
donald z on Mar 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I bought a 140/80 for my 2006 ktm 450 and it rubbed the chain guide. It is currently on my 14 500 exc and fits great.
