good tire..good price
Been looking for a tire like this...and was really happy when I seen it in stock at RMC..kind of early to report on the thread life..but if it is like the rest of the traits this tire exhibits it should do well..and the fact that RMC gives back to the sport sealed the deal
tire I wanted to match
mounted up to my original owner 1971 SL 125 been looking for a match for the front tire .very close

Solid Compromise Between Dirt and Street
Put these on my KLR 650 and I'm pretty happy with the results so far. Great price if I can get some decent mileage out of them.

Great tire Value, I will buy them again
I bought these after reading several good things about them and so far I am really pleased. On the road they handle great, I run the pressure low(about 25 psi) so I can get decent traction off-road (I transition from pavement to gravel to forest service tracks very frequently) and they still grip like mad in the twisties. Off road performance is not bad, I haven't had trouble going anywhere that I've wanted. Wear seems to be going quickly but I ride pretty hard (currently at 500 miles) . I bought a 4.60/17 for my DR650 and it is a bit narrower than stock, I will get the 5.10/17 on my next set.

Not a fan
Before ordering these Kenda's I ran Pirelli mt-21's which are aggressive dirt tires but to my surprise they handled the road incredible. This time around doing a build on a newer 2013 model I decided to go with tubliss 2 system front and back with the Kenda 270's . I thought I would be on the road a little more so get the cheaper 50/50 tire that has been talked well about. So the first time on the highway running at 70 mph for 30 min was enough to chunk almost every center knob on the whole tire. I was shocked , the tires have been 3 days old and never left the street , I was running 12lbs in front and back. I wont buy these again for sure!

I'll buy again!
This is the first tire I bought, upgrading from the lousy stock tire in a KLR 650. So far this tire has performed amazingly! It pushed my bike effortlessly through various passes of the San Juan mountains in Colorado. There is a bit of road noise, with this being a 50/50 tire its to be expected. It grips up very well on and off road. So far I have 2000 km on this tire and it's looking to be about 35% worn. Which for a softer aggressive lug I'm quite impressed, and the price can't be beat!

Can I fit a 5.10 rear tire on a xr 200?
John W on Aug 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You could probably fit it but I wouldn't. Here's why. On a smaller bike the yours the wider/heavier the tire is the hard your bike has to work to get it spinning. I have a 450 and went wth the 4.50 and can feel a difference in the way my bike response to it.( I had a wider tire on it before) having the smaller more narrow tire will help your bike open up faster so you can rip down the trail!
How does this tire compare to the 68M rated 130/90-17 K270?

Is the tread pattern spread out more on one?

Are they both 130mm wide, and is one of them taller than the other?
Randy K on Apr 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I ran several sets of the 270 tires and was quite happy with them own 50/50 use. However I seem to get more high speed wobble with the knobby than I do with the 705. I think the 705 has a much more planet feeling on the road but I have not tried them on anything other than dirt roads and paved roads. I like both tires and will probably switch back and forth.
