    Great 90/10 Adventure Tire
On my third set of these tires and remain pleased with overall performance and wear. Averaging 10-12K on the front and around 8K on the rear. Excellent on-road performance in dry or wet. Tire is quiet and predictable. While adequate for light gravel or hard pack dirt roads I would recommend something else for serious adventure work. I consider these my “travel” tire.

    Vast improvement over Anakee3
Waffled on choice of tires... initially wanted to go with Heidenau K60s but came to my senses as 80%+ of my riding is on the road and couldn't bear the thought of the incessant rumble of those more aggressive treads. These seem to work well thus far... I do quite a bit of gravel roads where I live. Can't comment on tread life yet, nor wet traction (as it's not rained for a bit.) Overall, I've always had good experiences with the Metzler products (running Marathon 880s on the K1200LT.)

    Love this tire
I have read the other reviews. I ride a 2013 Yamaha Super Tenere. I have not ridden it off road. I commute 40 miles a day rain or shine. I get about 13,000 miles out of the rear and about 10,000 mile for the front. I love this tire. It handles great. I have total confidence with it in the wet weather. It grips well in turns and has great stopping traction wet and dry. This will be my third front and second rear. I have about 33,000 miles on my bike.

Good Choice for 90/10 Adventure Tire
This is the third set of tires I have had on my V-Strom 650. I ride mostly pavement and an occasional gravel road or dirt trail.

The Metzler Tourance Next tires allow the motorcycle to change directions very easily while cornering when new. Maybe too easily. I think this is due to their more "V" shape as opposed to other tires being more rounded. Once the tires have several hundred miles on them, they feel more normal during cornering.

The grip while cornering, braking, and accelerating both on wet and dry pavement have been good and the grip on non-pavement surfaces is on par with other 90/10 tires.

10,000 miles and still going strong
I put a set on my BMW gs 1200 and rode down to Mexico and then up to Alaska and back home,no problem! I just got back from Death Valley, another 1,150 mile ride loaded with 2 up doing dirt roads, 2 lane hi ways and twisty roads every inch of these miles and couldn't be happier!

I can't figure why someone reported bad mileage from them unless there was some other issue other than the tire... I ride a lot and have MANY Tourance tires, These are easily the BEST ever! I am ordering another set to put on when these finally give up, but that may take a while as they still have a lot of life left in them. Great bang for the buck!!! Get yourself a pair!!!!!

    Any tire
Very disappointed - check to see if tire was mounted in correct rotation on the rim. If not, about 3000 miles is ALL you will get out of ANY tire. It will cause extreme wear on the front tire also. This will also cause extreme wear to both tires if the front tire is not mounted in correct rotation. Dealer who did this should have to replace both tires or give a HUGE discount for this mistake!! MY Harley dealer did a huge deal on new tires & mount & balance.

    so far, so good
I have 8,500 miles on these tires, front and back and they are holding up pretty well so far. The rear has had some tread wear, but no more than I would expect at this stage of the game. Handling has been fine on and off road.
