Pirelli has answered the call of the cruiser world with their super sticky, super predictable Night Dragon Rear Motorcycle Tire. What Pirelli does for sport tires, they’ve now done with a tire that carries over high performance characteristics to the Harley and metric cruiser crowd. Pirelli has really focused in on pairing the Night Dragon with cruisers’ physical size, torque output, and suspension for a tire that delivers predictable handling characteristics, superior grip at high lean angles, and compounds that shrug off high mileage rides.

      Specs:
    • Designed for Harley and metric cruisers
    • Superior grip at high lean angles
    • Great in wet or dry
    • Tire compounds are long wearing
    • Very predictable handling response

Great riding tires They made a major difference in the ride of the bike. More control of the bike, better cornering.

    An OK tire
This is my 2nd Pirelli tire...The first got 8500 miles on a Triumph rocket 3 touring...a heavy bike hence the low miles...It works as well as any other I've tried...Would like more miles per tire if possible

Night Dragon Rear Tire on Rocket III
Love the Night Dragon tires. As with any tire on a Rocket III, everyone wishes they lasted longer! But, you buy a Rocket for the acceleration so you expect to replace your rear tire sooner than on other bikes. I'm on my second rear tire and highly recommend them!

Night Dragon review on 900 Vulcan
I think this is the best option for me and my bike. This is the third one I have purchased and they last over 12,000 miles. I go with the oversized 200-70-15. Very pleased with this tire.

    Excellent buy
I love these tires! I have the Pirelli Night Dragon on the front and on the rear. This is my second rear tire and I'm still running the first Pirelli Night Dragon on the front. I love the tire it's got great wear and holds the road really well. I definitely recommend this tire. It's a great buy for a great price.

    double darksiding
ive ran this tire before. and it might seem odd but i run a rear MT on the front since my bike being a vn2000 classic lt is a fairly heavy bike and me being a heavy rider i was tired of replacing fronts every 2000 miles due to tires failing. anyways. this tire i used on a vegas run from central kansas. and it handled amazing. running a CT in the back and this in the front made the bike super stable and comfy to ride. and never even once in rain mountains deserts of highway did i ever feel like i was loosing any kind of control. and on the kansas colo border we found a crack down the center of the tire. we decided to limp it home it held up for another 245 miles and got me home safely even though it had all kind of visible damage .looking foreword to mounting this one .

    Good tire at decent price
Bought this tire based on a recommendation to replace the stock Dunlop on my breakout. Tire corners better and I have not had any traction issues even in the rain. I'll have to wait and see how long it holds up compared to the stock.

Is this a radial tire ?
    A shopper on Jun 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The short answer is, "It depends." The Night Dragon comes in both radial and bias ply. If you look at the letter after the width/aspect ratio numbers you will see either an "R" for radial, or "B" for bias ply.
I understand that the 160/70B-17 is a bias tire. But what is a 160/70-17? There is no letter after the aspect #. If the B is a bias is no letter a radial or bias. If it is a bias why are there 2? Thanks
    Donald M M on Feb 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The B in 160/70B-17 is for Bias Belted. The 160/70-17 is a Bias tire. The bias belted tires utilize ply cords that extend diagonally from bead to bead relative to the center line and it also has stabilizer belt across the width of the tire. For more information on the differences of Bias and bias belted please refer to the link below.
