Comments On May 07, 2013:Used on a 1999 bmw r1100rt at 38psi. I'm a 200lb rider who mainly commutes. This tire got me 12,000 miles and in typical RT fashion, wore out the left side of the tire first (wear bars still good on the right hand side). There is a bit of cupping on the left side of the tire, but this tire wore better than the Metzeler Marathon me880.
I'm mostly happy with this tire with my main pans being the cupping, and hard compound in colder weather. Once in the 70's, this tire performs great.
If you're doing straight math on tires, I don't think you can beat this tire, though other ST tires may grip better. Despite my review. I'm going to try out the non GT tire as the RT may be a little light for this tire.
