Long lasting tire
9000 miles and nowhere near the wear bars on the soon to be replaced RSIII's.

Feel Great So Far
Just have about 500 miles on these so far, but so far they are doing great on my 2009 FZ6. Previous tires have been Michelin PR2s and Pirelli Angel GTs, and these RS IIIs feel at least as good as either of those. I haven't ridden them in wet conditions yet, and with only 500 miles can't speak to how they will last, so I'm holding back the 5th star due to those unknowns. Here's what I can say about them though:

My daily commute is over 100 miles a day, about 30% country roads in the Sierra Foothills, about 30% crosstown traffic, and about 40% freeway. The RS IIIs run really smooth everywhere, smoothest feeling tire I've had on this bike.

Living in the Sierra Foothills, I get to ride the twisties every day, and so far these RS IIIs have been great. I feel completely confident they will hold any lean angle I am able to put them to. Braking and acceleration are solid, with no surprises.

These are replacing Pirelli Angel GTs, which were the best tires I have had on this bike, and so far, these RS IIIs are at least as good. Hopefully they will live up to Dunlop's claims of long life, and performance that doesn't fall off as the tires wear.

Love it long time...
Roadsmart III's are a very good purpose built tire, and work well on my recently purchased Honda ST1300. The meet, and exceed the weight requirements of the heavy ST1300. The handling characteristics enable me to confidently roll deep into turns, and are very stable at speed. If they are anything like the last set of Roadsmart II's that I had installed on my CBR1100XX then I should expect above average mileage as well. While I am a fan of less tread siping it is nice to know that these are set-up for those days when I get caught out in less than desirable weather.

3rd set
This is my third set of these tires and I can't say enough good about them. They are every bit as good as the higher priced tires & work extremely well with better over all life expectancy

Great tire for sport touring
I am extremely happy with the way these tires handle. The tread wear is very good on a literbike and holds up to the power well. I show almost no wear even after 1500 miles. The profile is very linear and confidence inspiring at all lean angles. However, the ultimate grip is not as good as a pure sport tire. I would recommend these tires to most motorcyclists, especially sport touring rider that needs good tire life. I would not recommend it to a pure sport or track rider.

So far so good
I'm only a few hundred miles into this tire, but so far I like it. It was definitely slower steering than my completely thrashed PR4 at first, but I am getting used to it and like the stable handling. I bought it partly because of the claims by Dunlop that it will maintain its performance characteristics well into the life of the tire. That is yet to be seen. I also have not yet had the chance to ride in the rain with this tire but I'm looking forward to it because everything I read says it does well in the wet. If I get decent life, decent handling, and relatively even wear throughout the life of this tire I'll be very happy. No selection for my Triumph Tiger 1050? C'mon, RMATV!
