      SAFETY

Inspect and check tire pressure often. This is the most important tire-maintenance function you can perform. Refer to your machine's documentation for proper maintenance. Always give tires a gentle "run-in" period of 100 miles to get the feel of new tires--this means they should not be subjected to maximum power, abrupt lean-over, hard cornering, etc. Always match the front and rear tires for optimal handling, safety and performance. Mixing radials, or mixing radials with bias or belted-bias tires, may adversely affect handling and stability.

      WARNING

The charts and information on this page do not imply interchangeability. Consult your machine's manual to determine correct replacements, clearances, compatibility and stability, load-bearing capacity, speed rating, radial vs. non-radial, pattern and tread compound requirements, inflation recommendations and front-to-rear tire matching. Wrong selection can result in tire failure or loss of control with serious injury or death.

The Bridgestone Battlax Sport Touring T30 is a premium brand steeped in technology refined through the company's development of MotoGP race tires, and is designed for use on medium- to large-size motorcycles. Designed for smooth handling and rider enjoyment, the series will feature new patterns and a new compound. The tires are designed for optimum road "hugging" properties and rigidity, together with enhanced lightness, "line" tracing, dry grip and other handling characteristics.
    • GT spec (heavy vehicle specialized tuning specs), with front tires developed with a structure differing from standard product patterns. The rear tires also differ in structure in much the same way. For large-size touring motorcycles and other heavy-duty models using pannier cases (saddlebag-like carrying cases placed over sides of motorcycles), the result is improved handling, lightness and loading stability.
    • Bridgestone's extensive experience in the high performance sport of MotoGP led to the development of RC polymers (MC tire use), a compound that builds on the company's exclusive "NanoPro-Tech" technology. This revolutionary technology delivers improved grip and performance in actual use temperature applications.
    • New Patterns Adopted on front and rear tires to deliver outstanding handling and grip. performance.
    • Crossed-T groove, optimizes rigidity.
    • Maintains optimum road hugging area at deep lean angles for optimal handling.

    Great tires
These are relay good tires for my FJR1300es. I used these tires until I purchased a set of Dunlop Roadsmart III's, These are in my opinion the way to go for my bike. They handle well in the wet & Dry & last longer than any of the other tires I have run in the past including Michelin, Pirelli & Metzeler.

    Great Tires
This set of tires has exceeded my expectations. Almost 14k on them and they have lasted and handled like a dream. Now that they are down to the wear bars I am feeling a little bit of slippage on them. Time to replace with another set!

    Pleased with the tires
I put a set of these on my bike over 12000 miles ago. I have been more than happy with the performance and longevity of the tires. I still have another 1-2k left on them and I will be replacing them with another set T30GTs. Grip in the curves have been great as I do love to push it in the curves. Wet handling I have no issues with. They are now squaring (the back) but at this mileage I cannot fault them.

    Excellent tire for sport tourer
This tire handles well and has exceptional wearing capabilities. I have about ten thousand miles on my front tire and looks like it may go another three thousand. I've been on two long distant trips and ride the canyons through the mountains during the week and weekends. This has been the best tire yet that i have tried on my FJR out of the last twenty for all around wear and handling.
