Got this for my crf150f, looks way better than stock, haven't been able to test it out though since it is winter here. Easy to install and perfect fit! Thanks yet again TUSK!
Had a worn beyond spec rotor and needed a new one. Decided to give this a try based on experience with other tusk products. As expected, I'm very happy with it.
Good replacement and good price, I like how the front rotors do not have the rivets (floating) like my stock one and all of the rivets wore out and the rotor was loose and had a little movement, the tusk rotor was a perfect upgrade and to me last longer.
I used to replaced my ktm Galfers with new Galfers. They seemed to wear very fast, so I figured I'd give the tusk rotor a try. I have to say, this paired with the "close out" neutron pads.. my brakes can LOCK UP extremely well. After many hours too, the rotor shows VERY LITTLE wear compared to how quickly my galfers wore. Will definitely be sticking with these in the future
For the price, you can't ask for a better rotor. Matched with the Tusk Sintered pads, this thing works just as well as any of the more expensive ones I've used on my 04 YZ250.
I ordered this rotor for my 2001 KLX 300. I like Tusk products and was pretty sure this would be a good value for the money. It was. Fit and finish was spot on, and it performed properly along with the Tusk sintered metal pads I purchased to go with it.
Great rotors for the price especially if your ride has the stock round (non wavy) rotors. Very heavy duty and thick. Only real complaint is they seem a tad heavier than the stock ones.
Either this sprocket came a little tweaked or it bent after one race. it sounds horrible and doesn't grab that well. kind of a bummer but it was also the cheapest rotor.
This is a little thicker than stock but it still fits great and stops the atv as it should. I've been running this for over a year on a KFX 450 without any problems with the rotor or pads. I would recommend this and other tusk products.
Skeptical at first since I race this bike. Has held up to the torture I put it through and have three races on it. Holding up nicely. Don't seem to get as hot as the OEM version. I would purchase this product again.
In your wallet. These are a great rotor at a great price. Thy look good, and perform very well. Installed on my sons 2001 CR125 a few years ago, and have functioned flawlessly. Bought them recently for his CR250. These won't disappoint...especially for the price.
For now, seem to be working great. Don't know how long they will last vs higher priced competitors. Perfect fitment, nice finish, great quality as I've come to expect from tusk
can't complain about the price on this rotor, and it works fine. I almost gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because I wish there were more relief cuts/holes in it. There's a bit more material and weight than necessary, in my opinion.
Just put this on last night, so haven't had a change to bed to try it out. Feels like it's great quality though, exact fit to the hub made for easy changing.
BEST ANSWER:I ordered this rotor but what I got looks completely different then the picture that's shown. Yes mine came with the speed/odo holes. There are 2 holes in the rotor for a sensor and I'm thinking there each placed for fitting different make bikes. Have not installed it yet, my bike is a KTM 350 EXC-F 2014.

Yes, you will have to put the magnet on the end of the bolt or replace one of the bolts with the special bolt for the spedo. You can use these with the spedo.
BEST ANSWER:When I installed mine I replaced one of the bolts for the rotor with a magnetic bolt. It came with the the Trail tech computer and works fine.

No, that is a solid brake rotor. Sometimes all you get is a picture of the general product. I did notice on the title it doesn't call it out as a floating rotor. Hope this helps you partner.
This isn't a floating design but that doesn't make it inferior. The fitment is the same and the solid bolting eliminates extra parts and the potential for wear between multiple mating surfaces.
BEST ANSWER:It depends where you ride. Sintered pads are good for muddy wet conditions and carbon pads are good for clean dry conditions. Carbon wears out fast in mud & sand from my personal experience. Sintered pads make noise & grind down rotors in clean dry conditions, again only in my personal experience.

The sintered metal will last the longest and are what all the oems' use in their production off-road motorcycles. There is a wide array of different brands of sintered pads. I would recommend a brand that has numerous positive reviews.
I prefer to use the softest pads available, so I stay away from sintered pads Front brake pads seem to wear very slowly compared to the rear and the "feel" is important to me
Sintered metal lasts longer and wears better especially in mud. Most OEM pads are sintered metal. Carbon pads generate much less heat but wear quicker and don't like mud.
BEST ANSWER:If got tusk wheels for a certain bike you should be able to order it for that bike the hubs should be the same bolt pattern as your stock hud. If you still have the stock wheels you should check and make sure the bolt pattern is the same.

I installed mine on a stock 2005 yz250 rim which the rotor was made for if the tusk is a oem replacement I don't see why it wouldn't fit a Tusk rim made for a yz 250 bc you would just swap stock parts over.
Has anyone used this on a 230?, I can't get pads in with it. its too thick it seems. The oem's min thickness is 2.5 this is 3.5..so it tells me it is thicker then stock.
Can anyone confirm if they were able to use this in a 230F
BEST ANSWER:a lot of times when the brake rotors wear down they keep on bleeding the brakes and add fluid. that causes the caliper to not open all the way making it hard to get the rotor in. i would take the resivore cap off and then push the pistons open and let the fluid bleed out.

Try collapsing the piston with a c-clamp, should work fine. 2.5 is min. when that rotor is done and needs replacing any new one will be thicker. The piston(s) will adjust with wear and need to be pushed back into caliper
Is the picture of this item generic? My current disk has 8 holes, the ones pictured all have four. If it's just a standard picture I get it, but when it shows up under a search for my specific bike and looks different I'm cautious.

I am looking at the image and the bolt holes do not look like they will match up with my 2002 DRZ400E and just wanted to guarantee this will fit the stock hub?
