Shreded after 200 miles

Comments On Mar 11, 2015:Put 1200 miles on the stock one and thought id play it safe and change out the belt. Read mixed reviews bit many good ones so I gave it a try. Blew up after 200 or so miles ... had the old belt .. put it on and finished the 100 mile + ride back to camp. Stick with OEM

This is the wrong belt for an XP1000: get the C-12

Comments On Feb 09, 2015:The Carbon Series is a much better belt. I have run the stocker (grenaded in 63 miles), EPI (grenaded in ~45 miles), another EPI with washing and better break-in (glazed after ~200 miles), this Gates G-force belt (grenanded after proper break-in and 300 miles on it). All driving is in sand, stock tires at 9 psi, 2-seater clutch kit, otherwise stock. Few accessories keep weight down. Save the hassle and spend a little extra for the C-12.

Just using as a spare

Comments On May 08, 2014:We bought the heavy duty belt and put it on the RZR...The guys at Rocky Mountian ATV suggested carrying a less expensive one as a spare...So we don't get stranded...

Weak belt

Comments On Dec 04, 2013:Was on a long ride and feared stock belt would finally give so brought this as a spare. It gave out in just a few hours of mild riding. The wildcats are belt eaters but this is ridiculous.

Comments On Dec 02, 2013:I ripped through this belt in 1 hour of riding. I bought 2 before I knew they were junk. Put the 2nd one on and shredded that one as well. I have no engine mods. All stock. Not impressed.
