Details

The Sena 10S Bluetooth Communication System is an upgrade to the popular SMH10 unit with a few refinements, and a smaller overall package that gives you brand new communication possibilities. Now the 10S delivers super-clear HD audio by connecting up to four riders that are up to 1 mile away. And because the 10S uses the Universal Intercom™ protocol it can communicate with headsets that aren’t even made by Sena.

This level of communication means you can talk with riding buddies, listen to music, or get GPS voice directions straight to your ear with very little hassle on your part. Everything connects using Bluetooth 4.1 for maximum efficiency that ends up providing 13 hours of talk time, 10 days on standby, and a 2.5 hour recharge time from the Lithium Polymer battery.

Installing everything in your helmet typically takes just a few minutes, and adjusting /configuring the settings is easy to do with the Sena Smartphone App. After that you’re ready to ride with a ton of new options, greatly improved communication, and one of the best motorcycle accessories there is.

How'd we live without them?
I and two buds got 10-S's....no more hand signals or wondering why someone dropped from view. Having my GPS alert me to up coming turns, being able to get phone calls and WOW FM radio...best money spent in long time. Rides go off much smoother...easy to use and an exceptional value...can't imagine a ride without them now.

Sena 10S Bluetooth Communication System
I like the Sena 10S very much.

However, the quick start instructions rely mostly on drawings and not enough type. I had a very hard time downloading the Sena program with full owners operating manual. to my PC. I found it pretty difficult to preset the fm.

My biggest gripe is the poor volume when using my I-Pod. The I pod is on full volume WIFI and the Sena 10S full volume. The Volume was minimal at 35 mph. At 70 MPH I could not hear the music. This is using a fully enclosed helmet riding a stock Kawasaki KLR 650 that is quiet.

Note: the Sena 10S has very good volume for it's FM and pretty good Volume for the GPS and the Android Phone

How many riders can you connect with?
A shopper on May 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Up to 4, according to Sena
Does anyone know if this clamp mount (for the 10s) will support any other SENA products. For example I intend to own the 10C evo, (if it is ever released) will it work from helmet to helmet or with the new device will it be starting from scratch with all new stuff? Thanks in advance for your input.
Joe R on Jun 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It should. My 10S clamp will still take the SMH10, so I would think any "10" series units would work.
