Overall great protection, zipper problem
This replaced a worn out Fox body suit that served well. Coverage is equal to my old Fox.

However, the zippers attaching the waist belt continually come unzipped. Resulting in either a riding partner zipping me up or taking off neck brace, jersey and suit to reattach the zippers, then suiting up again. A real PTA. Solved the problem by sewing the zipper shut. A product of this quality shouldn't have a problem like this.

Shoulder pads dont stay up, Kidney belt unzips
So i used this setup approx 10 times and could never keep the kidney belt from unzipping. i even tried to attach the zipper loop under some velcro and the kidney belt still came unzipped. so i just went back to my old kidney belt. the shoulder pads fit pretty loose. i have a 45inch chest, so i am not small or narrow in the shoulders, they just seem to hang off the shoulder, which during a ride became bothersome. the two piece system is a bit awkward and does not fit well with neckbrace. for the price, it was not worth it for me, as it sits in the bottom of my closet - all that money, and its just sitting in closet.

Poor execution, needs much refinement and thought
This is basically the Cosmo Jacket and Impact Roost deflector sold as a pair in one set- so needless to say it doesn't do either job very well. I was very disappointed to find out that it will not accommodate my Atlas Air brace, despite it claiming to be designed to be brace compatible; i've tried every combination of wear with the neck brace but it simply does not jive.

as a stand alone roost shield minus the long sleeves it would be great, but the sleeve sections don't stay in place well and are zippered together with very fine toother sippers and thus will get yanked apart by tree snags when trail riding.

The jacket component has a front zippe that rides right over your collar bone and the zipper closing direction is upward so bounding will make the zipper back its way open; same with the zipper for the kidney belt. I am super bummed as I was really wanting to like this product however acerbis has let me down big time. Go with Fox titan which I have been running for 5 years over this

Nice components
The system is basically modular so you can wear just the shoulder and elbow pads. The chest projector is integrated with the kidney belt and goes on separate from the shoulder/elbow pads. I had a six six one type before and the Acerbis unit has much better protection. The back brace does not interfere with riding pants.

Doesnt work well with Alpinestars BNS neckbrace
I bought this thinking it would complete my armor system when used with my neck brace. After trying it a few times I found it to be too bulky on the shoulder and elbow pads. For most of my riding this stays behind in the gear bag since.
