Some say the Trail Tech Voyager GPS Computer is a must for longer rides. Find out for yourself. Pick one up and get ready for an adventure.

Trail Tech has designed their Voyager GPS Computer to be as all-encompassing as possible to give every off road rider as many comforts and options as possible while you explore the untouched. At the core of the Voyager are its GPS capabilities that let you download, manage, and create trail maps. With this you can find a trail based on someone else’s map, or blaze a path of your own and let the Voyager map your progress via GPS and Google Earth. Voyager does more than just maps though. The list of capabilities includes GPS trail logging, GPS speed, engine rpm, distance, run hours, compass, altitude, ambient temp, and engine temp—any of which can be displayed on the customizable interface. Info is displayed in real time, but the Voyager adds another layer by storing performance and trail data to review later. For example, Voyager tracks engine operating temps so it can be graphed alongside altitude changes, letting you know exactly how your machine is performing all along your route. With machine specific integration and the option for power from the internal battery or your wiring harness, you can experience all the Voyager has to offer in an orientation that is designed for your needs.

Exploring the unknown doesn’t mean you have to go in blind. If you ride enduro, touring, or anything you can get your hands on, pick up a Trail Tech Voyager GPS Computer and start making tracks of your own.

Pretty cool computer

Comments On Apr 21, 2015:I have had really good success so far with this computer. It's nice to see your temp, mph, altitude, time. I can't say about the GPS yet, haven't downloaded any maps yet but if I have any problems I will update this review!

Not high quality, poor customer service

Comments On Nov 30, 2014:First what did work well. Having the temp/hour/tach/altitude and tracking was cool. Like other reviews mention, it isnt easy to navigate. Just not intuitive at all. I installed it on a YZ250F and because i dont have enough power from the stock stator I needed to rely on the battery. It simply dies too fast. No way to track an entire ride. Uploading a map is pointless. I did buy my unit more than a year ago, but it has since failed. Basically the navigation button/mouse controller fell off.

bad trail down loads

Comments On Oct 07, 2014:The unit was a snap to install. love the computer it's self. The free trail down loads off OHV. net sucks. The site is hard to navigate and always has an error message. I post this because Trail tech runs the map site.

Great Dirt Bike GPS System

Comments On Apr 15, 2014:This was a birthday gift from my wife to me. I have really enjoyed having this on my bike. Its great for monitoring your machine, it has warning lights for you to customize. It exports into Google Earth so you can share your rides with friends. The only reason it is a 4 star rating is because the stock mouting hardware is to flimsy and not strong enought to make me feel at ease that it wont break and lose/ruin my new toy.

Good GPS for bread crumb

Comments On Apr 11, 2014:All the features work perfect. I am no expert in GPS loading etc. I use it maily to find my way back if I am in umfamilure teritory. Have two units and may add a third. They do have interchangeability between bikes but that is a pain if you have the Aluminum dash. No to expensive to just get another unit.

Has potential

Comments On Oct 14, 2013:Install was fairly easy. It is a bummer I do not have a battery with the 2 stroke. I would think it could charge off of the system. Bought the maps card and still can not figure this thing out. Should be easier than this. I am hoping I can work with it better this year and get some good result. Right now, just frustrated. The regular trail tech was cake. This is a technological challenge. Tech support has been good, just can not call them when I am on the trail. Wish I could.

Solid product over all

Comments On Jul 01, 2013:This shows a lot of data about your rides which is great. I've gotten it muddy and wet and no problems there. It works great for logging a track for your current ride, and it's easy to back track out of a trail if you get turned around. My only complaint is that it doesn't have much internal memory. So I have to clear out old ride data before I start a new ride. It has a micro sd card slot, but it wont read that data or save to it on the fly. you have to manually import and export from the sd card, which isn't a quick process. I wish it could load up more map data so I could see all the roads in the area I'm riding. Another issue I have is that the tachometer doesn't read right. I've tried wrapping and re-wrapping the sensor wire around the spark plug a few times and it just is off significantly on the reading.

Great addition -NEED A METAL MOUNT

Comments On May 31, 2013:If you are riding long distances, this is a must. A lot of info given. I just wish there was a METAL mounting bracket instead of the plastic one.
