To early to tell on longevity but no reason to believe it won’t perform equal to other high quality oils. I can’t tell the difference between this or amsoil. It’s just a little cheaper.
Iride a yamaha 250f 60ex. ciass i can feel it at clutch out of corners very good feel . excellent lubication valvues. every 3 hrs. of living life at 13,500.
Using maxima mtl fluid for a while and wasn’t totally happy with it. Switched to this because I like maxima fluids these days and noticed less neutrals and a better lifespan.10w 50. I’m on a 2017 ktm 250xc.
I have used this in my sport bikes and four wheelers. In my sport bikes it worked great. Engines seemed to run smooth, and the clutches loved it. I have a 2014 Honda foreman that stays in the mud. I was running Honda oil since it was new. It has right at 900 miles on it at this point. I noticed that it started to smoke a little awhile back. I switched to this oil on the last oil change and it has stopped smoking. I think the valve seals were starting to leak. I did notice that when I made the switch the engine ran smoother. The last time I went to ride it I was at an event at red creek off road. My friend has the same four wheeler and uses Honda oil. His radiator fan ran a lot and I noticed that my fan did not run as much as it did with the Honda oil. I can't say enough about this stuff.
OK, so I don't have my own lab to perform cost effective data analysis but I have to say that this stuff seems to do it's job well. The price is good for a full synthetic oil and it does everything I need it to do. As long as it is doing what the label says it can do I am a happy camper. It hasn't let me down and I don't think it ever will. Two thumbs up.
I've used this oil in my bike for the past 5 or so oil changes, and I think its great! Before, I was using standard 10W-40 Yamalube, and it worked fine, but I felt like I had to change the oil a lot more frequently. The Maxima Pro Plus is the same price as standard Yamalube, and it is full synthetic with esther! Thats a no brainer for me. The clutch and transmission action is really smooth once the oil warms up. Noticably smoother than standard Yamalube.
One of the least expensive full synthetic oils and its high quality. I notice it stays fresh looking longer than others i have tried. Running it in my KTM and Street bike too. Good deal
I use this in an enduro-modified KX450F. Like the Maxima oil I use in my street bike, this stuff smooths out engine performance and shifting like no other oils I've used (and I've used a bunch) Keeps things running smoothly and cool through a variety of engine loads and temperatures.
What can I say. Maxima has always made excellent products and this oil is a product that deserves praise. Great clutch feel and shifting. I have run Maxima in all my bikes with great results, love castor 927 for my smoker!
BEST ANSWER:Should work just fine. I've used this oil in my 2006 CRF 250x since I bought it new, without any engine problems. I ride a lot of desert and technical trails in hot temperatures so this oil gets a workout.

Per the manual for that model, SAE10w-40 is what you should use. 10w-30 will be an acceptable viscosity as long as the ambient temperature in your riding area doesnt exceed 85-90 F.
BEST ANSWER:Suzuki recommends a full synthetic oil. Depending on your temperature of your riding environment it would dictate which viscosity to use. A good fail safe viscosity would be a 10w-50 or 15-50 synthetic oil. Suzuki recommends using the Motul 300v, but the Maxima Pro Plus oil will also suffice. I hope this answers your request.

Your bike calls for Motul 300V 10w40. However, Maxima Pro Plus or Extra4 10W40 is an excellent oil. Maxima oils are top notch and heavely used in the industry...it's all I use in my 2009 RMZ 450
Suzuki recommends MOTUL 300V 10W-40 or SAE 10W-40, API SG/SH/SJ/SL with JASO MA/MA1/MA2. Any 4 stroke 10W-40 four stroke oil that is compatible with wet clutches will work though.
Yes the oil its self is fine but im not sure about the oil weight although 99% positive it will be the same this was for a 09 kxf 450 and have been really pleased with it maxima goes in all my bikes and 4 wheelers for 15 years now without any problems once so ever hope this helps thanks
BEST ANSWER:Hi Charles, You can use the Pro Plus with excellent results. You can also use Maxima MTL trans fluid with even better results. I would recommend 75 or 80 weight to start with.

You can run this oil in the transmission because it is JASO MA certified. This oil works good in 4 stroke engines with wet clutches, as well as 2 stoke transmissions.
BEST ANSWER:Per the Maxima website, its an ester- based oil, or synthetic base.Ester oil is synthetic base oil that has been chemically synthesized. Typically ester oils are used in passenger car air-conditioning compressors, refrigerators and other industrial applications.
