Details

Want a sprocket that will last for seasons without weighing a ton? Then grab an Aluminum Rear Sprocket from Primary Drive.

With sprockets made from lightweight, aircraft grade aluminum that has been CNC machined, heat treated, and anodized, it’s clear Primary Drive makes an incredible sprocket. Not only will these sprockets keep you from losing teeth or jumping a chain, but they’ll hold fast against prolonged wear and warpage even as the hours pile up. Self-cleaning grooves between each tooth displace abrasive build up to keep the chain and sprocket in spec while the anodized finish doesn’t just add color but forms a barrier from harsh elements. Finally, Primary Drive designs their sprockets to replace your OEM piece, so you don’t even have to go out of your way to get the benefits of Primary Drive’s Aluminum Rear Sprocket. Just bolt it up and ride.

    Specs:
  • Replacement rear sprocket
  • Bolts up to stock mounting points
  • Uses stock hardware
  • High-strength aluminum alloy construction
  • Heat treated and anodized for extended wear
  • Self-cleaning grooves extend sprocket and chain life
  • Precisely fit to replace OEM sprockets
  • Factory colors available

Primary Drive Rear Aluminum Sprocket

Comments On Apr 22, 2016:I bought this in combo with the front sprocket and O-ring chain. Super value, no noticeable wear after a full season of riding. I see no reason to spend more on name-brand, the Primary Drive stuff is great.

Lasts, as long as you don't race it

Comments On Apr 11, 2016:Severe torque seems to wear this quicker than it should. Maybe I should back off the throttle? NOPE!!!

Long lasting

Comments On Feb 26, 2016:This is a great sprocket that lasts a long time for aluminum. I've been very impressed with the quality. They don't last as long as steel sprockets, but I like that they are lighter and can still last a reasonable amount of time.

Had to put it to the test

Comments On Feb 09, 2016:ok so i was looking at the reviews for the chain/ sprocket set and a lot of them said the aluminum sprockets chipped teeth and wore out really quick. So i had to put it to the test, so i took to the road and torqued that sprocket and chain as hard as i could. I beat the absolute snot out of it, i put at least 6 hard road hours on it. The chain barely stretched and the sprocket had next to no wear on it!! When i ordered these they were at my house NEXT day with standard shipping!!! 5/5 would easily buy again! The only thing i have to say is that i probably wouldn't but a aluminum sprocket on a 450 (probably stick with a steel)

Sprocket

Comments On Feb 07, 2016:Nice fitting sprocket, but didn't last as long as I would have expected. I will be buying steel sprockets for now on. They last longer and cost less money.
