Supersprox goes all out with their Rear Steel Sprockets, from first stage to last. Let’s start with the first. Supersprox begins by using a highly specialized SCM435 Ni-Chrome-Molybdenum low-corrosion type steel as the base material for the sprocket. Once the shape has been CNC machined, the sprocket is case hardened to give it a low carbon core and an incredibly tough surface hardness. To finish it off Supersprox uses hot-dip galvanizing to protect the surface of the sprocket by chemically creating a shielding layer of zinc carbonate. So what does all that mean? What it means is that you’re getting a sprocket with outstanding durability made from some of the best materials available.

  • SCM435 Ni-Chrome-Molybdenum low corrosion steel
  • Hot-dipped galvanizing gives tough zinc carbonate finish
  • Self-cleaning chain grooves
  • Fits like a stock sprocket
  • Low carbon core with case hardened surface

High quality

Comments On May 01, 2016:Super durable and quality made sprocket, I could have gone through probably 10 aluminum sprockets by the time it wore out. Don't be one of the local track clowns who thinks because they have aluminum sprockets suddenly the small weight difference will make them faster; only experts and pros have the right to make such claim.

Off-road riding needs a steel rear sprocket

Comments On Apr 14, 2016:I'm impressed with the rear sprocket. It lost some color after a few washes/cleanings but is wearing very well and does not make noise. Good product and will buy again.

This sprocket is Super!

Comments On Jan 24, 2016:So strong and embraces abuse. Iv had this sprocket on my bike for 2 yrs now and just recently have I noticed some slight wear on the teeth. I will certainly buy this sprocket again. Its not too heavy either. Yes, it weights more than an aluminum sprocket, it will last 4 times longer though.

Go Steel...That's the Deal

Comments On Jan 03, 2016:I had this sprocket for my 2012 KX450F which was a powerful beast. I liked it so much that I am going with this on my 2016 KX450F. It's heavier, yes, but unless you are a pro and someone is paying for your aluminum sprockets save yourself the money. You won't notice the added "unsprung" weight. You'll have more mud on your swingarm ten minutes after you jump on the track. Just buy it.

Comments On Dec 07, 2015:I must have over 100 hours on thise sprocket and the teeth still look new. I wont have to replace this one for quite a while still. Steel is the way to go. Looks good too.

rear sprocket

Comments On Nov 29, 2014:after a year this thing is sweet. the color coating is as strong as the sprocket itself. looks like a high dollar aluminum sprocket but lower cost and 100 times the life.
