Sporting the same quality as all DID chains, the 520 ATV is a robust design with thicker plates for increased strength and heat dissipation. Perfect for hard on the throttle quads. Don’t worry about increased friction. With the "X" type sealing ring, friction is kept at bay with sealing surfaces that hold more lubrication in against the rollers and pins. With design like this, DID has made an ATV chain you’ll adjust once and then keep on your bike for seasons to come.

  • Available for non-ATV applications
  • Designed for ATV use
  • Thicker plates than standard increase strength
  • Low-friction X-ring sealing rings
  • Better sealing surfaces and lubricant retention
  • 8,120 pound tensile strength
  • 750cc max displacement recommended
  • Master link included

Fit great on my Z400

Comments On Jan 20, 2016:I have been running this chain for over a year and it is well worth the money. I have only had to tighten it twice since I put it on and it hasn't budged since then.

chain likes to stretch extensively in sand

Comments On Sep 01, 2015:bought this chain figuring since it was rated up to 450f power, it should manage just fine on a 2 stroke cr. unfortunately for the chain, I ride a lot of sand in Utah, Idaho, and Oregon dunes. once it had completed it's initial stretch after a handful of rides consisting of tracks, trails, and sand; I adjusted accordingly. then one weekend of soft sand at little sahara with a ten paddle dunatik managed to stretch it more, so I adjusted again. next ride out, stretched again. next ride get the point. the chain now has a substantial amount of slop side to side that normally would not normally be present in a high quality o-ring/x-ring chain. i'm not sure if I happened to get a defective one that came from the manufacturer or the actual model of chain has some weaknesses that need to be addressed. the chain lasted about 1 season worth of riding, so 5-6 months tops. when installed, it also had brand new sprockets put on as well, to make a new set of everything as well as regular maintenance between rides of cleaning the chain thoroughly and re-lubing. not 100% sure I would buy again even though I've had great luck with D.ID. products over the years.

Great Quality Chain!!

Comments On Sep 08, 2015:I've installed this chain several weeks ago now & am very satisfied with the quality and durability of it. It looks like it should last many years, especially with my typical riding habits.

Super stiff

Comments On May 02, 2015:The amount of friction from the x ring seals robbed the bike of maybe 10-15% of it's power just to turn the chain. I finally replaced it after several months and enjoyed an instant power boost. I thought it might break in, but it never did.

Decent Chain

Comments On Mar 17, 2015:The chain does work well but was very difficult to put on the connecting link considering it was an o-ring chain. With the o-rings on there I had a hard time squeezing the connection tab to get it hooked in. Other than that a very nice chain!
