Nice kit
I came across this kit after looking around online for a good overall chain and sprocket kit. And several people said this was it. Great kit for the money. Its not all fancy and shiny. But the steel sprockets will hold up good. And the X-ring chain seems very strong, and has o rings to keep grease in, and dirt out. The only down fall is you can only buy in the stock gearing for your bike. Which isnt too big of a deal for me.

I bought this bike with a bad engine. Overhauled the engine big bore hit cams, jet kit, Uni air filter, doohickey Thermo bob, bags, crash bars, big front brake. And these new chain and sprockets can’t wait to get on the road and off road with it

Fast Shipping & Good Fit
Thought maybe I would have to resize the chain for my needs, but it was the correct length. Maybe that is how they do things these days......it's been a long while since I bought a chain.

Everything fit good and made for quick replacement. Not sure of durability yet, but others have good things to say about it.

On a final note, the grease that comes on the chain is GOOD STUFF! Over 500 miles and links are still sticky with the stuff. Wish I could get hold of that product for chain maintainance.

Chain & rear sprocket OK, front sprocket a real screamer.
I'm an older guy who enjoys his Yamaha WR250x as a commuter bike. After 15,000 miles the OE chain & sprockets finally needed replacement. I'm pretty easy on the bike.
I purchased this set based on all the positive reviews. The install on a WR was pretty straightforward and after buttoning things up I went for a spin. i was surprised at the noise coming from the front sprocket area. Was it the chain? Sprocket? I double checked my chain tension. No issue there. Wheel alignment? No problem there. So I decided to just ride for awhile and see how things played out. This was a few months ago. The situation never improved.
This whine was so loud that friends were asking "What did you do to your bike?" My wife even noticed it when I was 500 feet down the street. I found myself riding the WR less and less.
Finally I decided enough was enough and ordered a stock Yamaha replacement sprocket and removed the one from Primary Drive. Bingo!
I just came back from a short ride and the bike is back to normal and quiet as it ever was.
This may not be an issue for everyone but it was for me.
I did notice a considerable difference in the shape of the teeth (both sprockets were 13 tooth, stock).

Great Chain and Sprocket kit
This chain and sprocket kit are a great value, the chain is strong and resist wear very well! I use this with a steel sprocket combo and they last a very long time. I have had this combo for a while and went to many races and practice days and it is still going strong. When I need to replace it I know what I will use. RM pricing is a good deal on this also! For the money you can't really go wrong!

Does the chain come with a clip style master link?
A shopper on Sep 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes the chain comes complete with master link and anchor clip. For the money this set has been the best I've ever had. Minimal chain stretch- only adjusted once this season- and gears still look new. Just be faithful with the chain lube!
Is it possible to select sprocket ratios other than stock? 13 - 48 is stock but I'd like to gear down.
Matias M on Apr 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, you cannot change the sprocket teeth in these kits. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
My 07 WR250F has a 13 tooth front and a 50 tooth rear. The one in the picture is a 14 and not sure about the rear. Can I get a 13/50 chain combo?
Thanks
Ken D on Dec 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The sprockets and chain on these kits are stocked sized to your machine. If you enter in your machine you will get the stock size sprockets and stock size chain. The picture is a generic picture.
What tools would be required to install this chain on 2013 KAWASAKI KLR650?

Is master link included and if yes, does it need to be pressed or it has a clip?

Thank you!
Peteris N on Sep 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This kit comes with a clip style master link for the chain. So all you'd need to install it is a pair of pliers, preferably master link pliers.
