Worth every penny! Buy them!
i had the regular Cycra probends on my XR650L and now i have a set of the CRM ones on my CRF450X too. they are an exceptional product. once you get them mounted properly and tight they stay put! they can take a serious beating without bending. i hit trees with mine all the time. i don't drop the bike much but it happens now and then and they have never bent or moved.

i have had several others and none of them ever compared to these.

Very pleased!
Upon opening the package, the first thing that caught my eye was the quality of the parts. They appeared to have been machined and looked really good. They also have a very solid feel when mounted up. No doubt they can take some punishment.

I had to reposition my controls and move the front brake line to get these to fit properly but, I am well pleased. I didn't think I would like the new control positionings but after riding for about an hour, I was glad I moved them. Time will tell for the durability but I suspect they will hold up.

Would've preferred yellow...
With a little work they fit great on the 2017 RMX450Z, look really good as well.

Sikk product.
Love the fit and protection of these handguards. I have narrow bars and was worried that they wouldn't fit, but they just fit. Only downside I didn't like was the self tapping screws that hold the plastic covers on, but then again they are secure.

Great Product
A great product works well. A little pricey, but very much worth the extra money. I wish, I would have spent the extra money upfront and purchased these over another off brand!

Great hand and control protection
Great bark busters. A bit spendy but great life. If this pair bends I'm trying the Enduro Engineering ones.

2017 Beta 500 RR-s with BRP Submount-
If you are running BRP submount for a stabilizer, then this is a tough fit. Had to go with BRP handguard mounts as the units that ship with the cycras won't work. The BRP submount takes too much real estate at the center of the bars. Also, and most frustrating, is that the bar end expansion hardware that was supplied with the Cycra kit did not fit the bar ends for final attachment. Cycra provides 2 different sizes for the bar ends but one is too narrow and the other too fat to fit in the end of the bars. Odd. These are stock tapered bars, Nekken, very common. Had to go with a BRP threaded bar end insert.

Will these fit on the 2017 ktm 300xcw?
robert s on Oct 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: NO THEY WILL NOT FIT. Do NOT buy the racer's pack for a 2017 KTM XC or XCW!!! It wil not fit!!! It says 1-1/8" bars but the clamps are the WRONG ONES and will not fit no matter what you do. Instead buy the parts separately. Get the probend hand guard set in Orange, then buy this clamp kit: Cycra Handguard U-Clamps Orange 1 1/8" Renthal Fat Bars/Neken. The other thing that sucks in the racer's kit is the bar end inserts, they are total crap and do not work. Since you are buying separately, get the Tusk ones instead which worked fantastic: Tusk D-Flex Bar-End Clamp Handlebar Inserts. I wasted over $50 making this mistake, becuase there no clear answers.. don't let it happen to you!

PS - Cycra only makes one "orange".. I ended up choosing the racer's kit because I wanted "KTM Orange".. but the regular probend kit in orange is the same orange, they only have one orange colour.

Hope this helps someone else avoid the flail I made.. already heard of two other people locally who made the same mistake. Poor form them not advertising better that it will not work on stock Neken KTM bars!
will they fit my renthal fat bars?
A shopper on Mar 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The 1 1/8 CRM set is for "Fat Bars" and has been fitted to several sets of handlebars that I have used. Some bends of bars may require more careful fitting/adjustment than others to get the mounting correct. If the CRM's are not installed very carefully to get the inner clamp contour on the bars where it EXACTLY matches the contour of the bars; it WILL easily rotate in a crash. I feel these are satisfactory for a Dual sport/Trail riding, but if you are running Hard Enduro type riding I would recommend the hand guards that mount rigidly to the triple clamps. My next set will be of that type; as I am worried that I am going to lose a clutch or brake master cylinder when it rotates in a crash. (bouncing off rocks/trees) These rotate where I have to beat them back into place in about 80%+ of my crashes. Yes- I have then set up correctly as I am obsessive about my bike setup.
will it fit my 2017 yz250x?
conner k on Dec 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: As long as your bars are stock, they should fit. It's the bar diameter you're looking for and I believe YZ's have 1-1/8inch bars as they're standard these days on almost everything...which means all grips are the same size too. Older bikes have weird bar sizes as do bikes for kids.
will these fit flexx bars?
A shopper on Jun 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes and no. Cycra does make these specifically for the flex bar application- make sure you choose the correct one specifically for flexx bars. Also flexx has mounting bolts on their site that make installation of the cycra guards much easier and simple
Will these fit 2017 KTM 350 EXC-F?
Adam M on May 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. These will fit any bike with fat bars (1 1/8"), and all full size KTM's come with fat bars from the factory. These are also the best bark busters that i have used as far as having less clearance issues with clutch and brake levers.
will these fit a 2016 ktm 250xcf?
ZEKE S on Nov 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: there are versions to fit any bar. you must specify for bar diameter and type
How do I find measurement for handle bars for hand guards?
John c on Oct 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: With regards to picking the right size hand guards, there are just two kinds/sizes of handle bars:

One style of handlebar has a straight 1 inch diameter, from one end to the other.

The other style of handlebar is the "ProTaper" type, where the center of the bar, where it meets the triple clamp, is larger diameter, 1 1/8 inch, and the diameter tapers to the ends, where the controls and grips attach, to 1 inch.

So, that's all you need to know to order the hand guards, I think - 1 inch or 1 1/8 inch.

It is tricky, however, to get the guards and all the controls - clutch and brake levers, etc - aligned, and also to bore a hole in the end of the grips and the throttle body through which the ends of the guards attach. It's a nice evening project, but I might suggest you bribe an experienced friend to help you, if you've never done it before.

Regarding other measurements, that is, the width of the bars, their rise and sweep back, you can find that on the web site under the drop down "size" box.

Hope this helps!
