Special Notes:

  • Does not fit KTM's.
The Tusk High Pressure Radiator Cap is the simplest and most inexpensive way to reduce your motorcycle or ATV from boiling over. The Tusk High Pressure Radiator cap raises your cooling system’s maximum operating pressure and therefore raises the boiling point of your coolant. This is a perfect upgrade for most motorcycle and ATV radiators with stock caps.
  • Higher pressure radiator cap increases the boiling point of your coolant to reduce boil over problems on your motorcycle or ATV.
  • Perfect for 4-stroke and 2-stroke motorcycles, ATV’s, and UTV’s.

  • Raises the boiling point by 25 degrees when going from a stock 1.1 kg/cm2 (15.7 psi) radiator cap to the Tusk 1.6 kg/cm2 (22.8 psi) radiator cap.

Beware..Not all rads will take the pressure
Beware. I put this on a a year old Chinese rad for a Z400. It turned into a fountain, couldn't take the pressure. New rad on on way,

Good Replacement for Stock Cap..
Put this on my kids KX250 and it helps keep it from running hot. Much better than stock cap.

Minimize boil over
Motocross bikes have no coolant reservoirs and run hot. This will help keep coolant loss to a minimum. Overheating is common, and this will help minimize that.

Great for RMZ450
My RMZ450 would slowly lose coolant and from reading it was recommended to use a higher pressure cap. This fit perfect and also solved my issue, no more lost coolant!

1.6 Radiator cap
Great cap to run in hotter environments. 1.6 or up should do it.

Don't Lose Coolant
I bought this when I decided to redo my cooling system, since installing I haven't dropped any coolant. In Arizona it's important to keep your coolant in your bike on those long trails.

I have a Kawasaki ER6N 2009. I changed out its oem radiator and installed a new one, but my old cap is to short to create a seal. I need at least a inch long neck on the cap. What product would work?
A shopper on Oct 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's the same dimensions as the oem cap so I don't think it will work for what you're looking for.
