Myler's High Pressure Radiator Cap: Say goodbye to overheating problems
Most stock radiator caps are insufficient for hot weather and/or slower riding conditions like single track, so the switch to a higher pressure radiator cap is a must. Myler's cap is a good option for this need. Similar in appearance to stock caps, the bright yellow decal on top makes it stand out, reminding you that you've made a wise small investment to protect your expensive investment. While the fitment is a bit more clunky than stock (i.e. it seems to be a tad harder to get on, and doesn't seem to tighten quite as satisfactorily), it does fit well, and seems to function properly. Myler's is a hometown, family-run business, with friendly, knowledgeable folks, and they've repaired a couple of damaged radiators for me with excellent results, so I'm happy to recommend their products.

    Cooled the bike down
In tight single track, mud, etc, my bike would get hot. I installed this cap and the problem went away. My next step was to install a fan, but now I haven't needed to.

Does not fit as well as OEM
This Radiator Cap works just fine. Does not leak. Does not fit as "nicely/smoothly" as stock. If you need a radiator cap, this definitely is one.

Don’t buy the Chinese models on ebay – you will be sorry. Buy the Mylers brand, it is durable and works great.

On my Mylers Radiator Cap, 1.4 is stamped versus the one rated at 25.6 PSI has 1.8: the Mylers High Pressure Radiator Cap 25.6 PSI .
Does mine, the 1.4 have a different PSI, and if so, what is it? Thanks,
    JAMES W on Jun 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, there is a difference. The 1.8 and 1.4 number stamps you see are the caps' rating in bar(s) (an alternate unit of measuring pressure). The 1.8 bar cap equals 25.6 psi, so your 1.4 bar cap would equal 20.3 psi. Hope this helps.
