One season in
Installed these on my bike and my wife's bike. The install was easy enough and the instruction video was very clear. After a few months of use, we both ended up having the wire pull away from the ceramic resistor on the Low side - after replacing with a flasher relay, both work great.

Great Affordable Grip Heaters
Simple to install, and wire. Entire process took very little time. Very reasonably priced and it does what it claims to do.

good product
only thing I could complain about is the switch. I don't like the way it is so long, it seems like a branch, hand, eye or headphone wire could catch on it and damage it or something.

would prefer a flatter switch but this worked fine.

set ups easy

works pretty good

heat seems sligtly uneven but no biggie

2 levels work good

made my girlfriend happy and now I want some too

heated hand Grips
works great put on my girls bike, they get hot fast and seam to not draw that much power. Just make sure to turn off if you stop don't want to run your battery drown unless you also have a kick start with electric start. Put on a TTR 225

Great grip heaters
I put these on my wife's quad. She has a twist throttle conversion. these things work great. On high, they get so hot you need to turn them down. Great for snow, winter, and rainy days. I want a set for my KTM.

Easy to install. Work great! Installing the left side on a Boyesen flex grip keeps the heat even with the throttle side.

Is it difficult to get the handle grips back on with the heaters on the handle bars ?
JOHN R on Dec 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: John, it was a little work but not bad, I used little lube on mine... FYI wrap the clutch side bar with surgical tape, straight on the aluminum bars will pull heat fast!!! throttle side will burn your hand and clutch side your hand will freeze. pulled clutch side off and wrapped with cloth athletic tape and makes huge difference... I ended up ordering two sets of grips, and putting two throttle grips on, and put more wrap on the clutch side, now temp is perfect on both sides. YOU WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER BIKE WITHOUT THEM!!!!! Merry Christmas!
I am wiring these through a fuse block and want to know what amp fuse to use for the circuit?
Zachary S on Jun 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The unit only draws 1.67 amps plus or minus 5%. A 2.5 amp fuse will be plenty of protection following the 80% rule, which would be 2 amps. Well above stated power consumption.
Where did you mount this on the KTM 690? In the video it shows drilling a hole in the plastic, but there is not any plastic in the handle bar area to drill for the 690.
Bryan B on Mar 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Which part are you talking about?
The video shows it being installed on an atv not a bike.
I put them on my KTM 300xcw, but I was looking for a smaller low profile switch.

You can mount the toggle switch wherever you want.
i have a 2015 ktm 200 xc-w with headlight. where and which wire should i tie into? color and location please?
MICHAEL V on Dec 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: where ever there is power. people choose different power outlets all the time. here is a video that better explains it. you can tie into anything with power. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn00DrapB1A
will I need new grips to install tusk heated grips on a 2013 Polaris sportsman?
Craig Z on Dec 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: if you glued your grips on then yes cause you would have to cut them off to get them off.
What size hole do I need to mount the switch?
Shaun V on Nov 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This kit requires a 1/2" hole for mounting the switch.
