Great product
I use these when I swap from full wrap hand guards to flags. Now I run them on my moto setup as well as they protect the grips.

wouldn't clamp inside bar
Would not compress enough to clamp inside of 7/8 bars on my 1976 Husqvarna. Maybe its just the 40 year old bike and bar, but it didn't work. Fuel line would have worked better.

Saves Grips
Changed from wrap around bark busters to rebounding shields, and needed some protection for the grips. Does it's job, keeps grips from shredding on falls and tips. Only downside is you have to trim your grips every time you install new ones.

How to put them on?
A shopper on Apr 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: the throttle tube must have the end cut off. I loosen the throttle housing and pull the throttle assembly about an inch toward the right side. there will be an inch of the throttle tube past the end of the handlebar. I then use a die grinder, from the end of the grip, to open a hole in the end of the grip and throttle tube. be sure to make the hole large enough top fit over the handlebar. return the throttle housing to a position just slightly past the original position on the handlebar. the handlebar should just slightly protrude from the end of the grip. now check to ensure the throttle snaps back closed when fully turned. the bar end then will fit tightly against the end of the bar and the expanding center piece will hold it tightly into position. check the throttle action once again. the left side of the handle bar is much easier. I just use a hammer to smack the end of the grip and the handlebar will cut its own hole through the grip. push the grip armor bar end tightly against the handlebar and tighten, the rubber grip will spread out slightly and seal tightly against the bar end. you will no longer tear the end of your grips in a tip over.
