Dirt Bike Flags and Mounts

When you’re out riding the dunes, the last thing you want is to come over a ridge facing a rider coming from the opposite direction. The solution is to use a motorcycle flag – in fact, they’re required at sand dunes. An important safety measure, flags alert riders to nearby machines. Rising six feet in the air, they provide an extra level of visibility that is normally missing from riding on sand dunes (and other types of terrain where visibility can be impeded).

Since they naturally have a highly visible nature, flags aren’t just a safety precaution – they’re a way to express yourself as you ride. For this reason, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC carries several options of dirt bike flags. If you’re feeling patriotic, an American flag might be just your thing. Want a skull and crossbones look? We’ve got a few to choose from. We’ve got everything from flames to pink stars.

Of course, a flag isn’t very helpful without a way to mount it to your bike. That’s why we also stock several flag pole holders. A quick release pole holder makes it easy to remove your flag after the initial hardware is installed.

Don’t skimp on safety or style – buy a dirt bike flag and pole holder from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC today!

    Not suitable for dirt bikes

The metal joint on the two piece pole constantly thumps me in the back. The Flag's O rings fail to secure the fabric adequately and it slides down. At 10 miles the flag got ingested by my rear disk and shredded. The shaft also broke at that time. I can't recommend it at all, go with a solid shaft and a glued on flag. Complete waste of money in my case.

    Broken flags

Worked well, but kept breaking flags. Next time, I’d get the fender mounted flag holder.

    Not impressed.

Super flimsy. The screws in the joint in the middle back off regularly causing the pole to come apart. Wish that I'd opted for a more sturdy single piece pole.

  • Tusk Quick Release Flag Pole Holder

    Pretty good.

Allows the pole to slip a little more than I'm comfortable with. But otherwise, very solid.

    Great design but poor material

I was super excited to have an alternative to swingarm mounts that keep the flags too low, or side fender mounts that are a bit too forward for comfortable dismounting of the bikes. I live 1.5hrs from Glamis and we are riding dunes all winter. The first time I mounted this in my garage it went on great. All straps adjusted and fit nice and tight. Got out to the desert at night, unloaded the toy hauler and got up early for a first ride. As I went to install the mount the strap tore right at where the holes are drilled. Super bummed! I bought this months in advance so a return wasn't an option. Whelp, I won't make that mistake again that's for sure. Back to metal mounts for me and my family
