Lets you pull it down tight without blowing out your forks. Can be a bit of a tight fit you have less than full moto suspension, but easy enough to get in there.

Good bike transporting stand overall. At first, a few things made me concerned: width of the clamping area for KTM foot pegs, very neat (almost invisible) welds, upper clamps rigidity to side-to-side movement, and plastic wing nuts. I almost wanted to return the whole thing and get the next model in the lineup. But, upon installation and a mod I made to the clamps edges (thick rubber around the clamping area), as well as transporting the bike the first time, the stand worked well. The width is sufficient for KTM 300 and the clamps compressed leave enough space to roll the bike through. The frame of the stand is very rigid, no complaints here so far. I didn't want the clamps to be scratched by the spikes of the foot pegs, for which the mod helped, other than that, I would recommend this transporting system.

Great product, especially for those who don't have to option to not tie down without cranking on the suspension

Very nice well made product. Work as advertised. Beware, it's heavy. IMO, walking up the steps is harder than it looks!
