Details

The Dirt Tricks Front Sprocket is built from an ultra-hard tool steel. Most front sprockets sold today are "case hardened", meaning that only a thin outer layer of steel is hardened. Below that layer is soft steel. Dirt Tricks front sprockets are heat treated, giving them the ultimate toughness and wear resistance. How can they have such a hard material without it being brittle? Shock resistant tool steel is the answer. This is the same steel used to punch holes through 1" thick plates of steel, on high speed punch presses.
  • MADE IN THE USA!
  • One year wear guarantee.
  • Made from high grade shock resistant tool steel.
  • Machined to the tightest industry standards.
  • Special "through" hardening process for ultimate toughness and longevity.

15 tooth does not fit
Listing says 15 tooth fits 2002 KTM 520, however, after buying and attempting to put it on, it does not clear the other parts and that is without the chain on. It hits the clutch guard and chain guard with the chain on. I really wanted to like this by Dirt Tricks, I believe it is a good product, but the listing should not say 15 tooth fits when it clearly doesn't. Now I am stuck with a part that doesn't fit.

Great sprocket
Ordered this part because of the great reviews of Dirt Tricks products. Sprocket fit perfectly and looks great. I can't say anything about the wear yet as I have only had it on the bike for a single ride but I am very pleased with the quality and fit of the sprocket.

Front sprocket
Best sprockets on the market. Used this one for one season of trail riding so far, and there is no wear at all.

The best of the best
Dirt Tricks products are the highest quality & durability available to the market. I have over 100 hours on a set of sprockets, mostly enduro racing, hare scrambles, and the occasional fun ride. Front sprocket teeth are barely beginning to hook so, I am ordering another one and installing a new chain. American made too!

Best Sprockets Hands down
These Dirt works sprockets, both front and rear are the best sprockets you can buy! They have cut my chain maintenance at least in half and after a hard year of enduro racing and riding they still look new. Also they have improved the chain life like I never thought possible, it still looks new too and has only needed 3 adjustments on my worked 450 over the course of a year, which is really saying something,

300xcw, replaced 13 tooth with 14 tooth
2016 300xcw with just over 100 hours. Picked up the 14 tooth version of this to go along with new chain and rear sprocket. This was PERFECT for making my bike a little better for faster desert riding, without killing the usefulness of the low 1st/2nd on the xcw's. I gave 4 stars for value, because its expensive, but for a reason. Made in USA, 1 year warranty and the material, fit/finish is top notch, compared to the oem sprocket and some of the $10 cheapies. And it looks 1000x's better. +1 to the bling skill!

Come with a new circlip?
Jake P on Sep 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I ordered mine for my yz 250. It doesn’t use a circlip. So it did not come with one. I would not think it comes with a new circlip for the models that use a circlip.
On my RM 250 i have replaced the circlip and i order a genuine suzuki one. But never comes with the sprocket. Hope this helps, dirttricks counter shaft sprockets are the best!!!
