The clamp that supposed to hold it in place at the swingarm on the bottom and the fender at the top does not work on my Husky. The threaded bolts are not long enough, making the jaws too short to clamp on the swingarm or to clamp on the fender/subframe measuring point. I suppose C-clamps or a trip to Home Depot to find longer bolts could improvise. Will return this, don't waste your money!
After messing around with it for a bit, it worked out great. Just be sure to use approximately the same dimension from swingarm pivot to axle that you use to set the clamp either on the number plate, or the rear fender. (just like the instructions say). It makes a difference. Nice tool to have!
I had to adjust the friction on the brass slider but it worked fine. You just have to be super smooth and gentle getting on the bike if you bounce around the brass slider will show more sag than you actually have
Setting up a bike alone is always a challenge. This is exactly what I was in need of for setting sag. Works like a champ. Might like to see a different set up for securing it to the rear axle but it does work, you just have to fiddle around with it to understand it. Really helpful tool and glad I bought it.
