  • Tusk Pannier Racks

    Timothy in OK

Way better than KTM hard cargo boxes.

Take your KTM hard boxes off of your 2016 1290 Super Adventure and throw them away. These panniers are so much better and rigid. MUE IMPORTANTE: if you are thinking about adding a RotopaX fuel can the 1.75 gallon and above will not physically fit. You are limited to the 1 gallon can. Still nice to have an extra gallon of fuel.

Way better than KTM hard boxes.

These Tusk pannier racks and boxes are awesome and fit the 2016 KTM 1290 Super Adventure so much better than the KTM hard boxes. MUE IMPORTANTE!!! If you are thinking about adding a Rotopax fuel can, the 1.75 gallon and above will not physically fit. You must go with the 1 gallon can.

  • Moose Racing Adv1 Dry Trail Pack

    Todd in CA

Perfect size bag for overnight dual sport rides

I bought this bag for the price and ease of securing to the bike with built in looped straps. Its the perfect size bag for jetboil, sleeping bag, small thermarest, food, clothes, etc. The only issue I had was the plastic quick release buckle for the handle broke the first time I cinched it tight. The buckles are thin and cheap. I had to replace them with heavy duty buckles.

  • Nelson Rigg Sierra Dry Saddlebags

    Brad in WA

    Good but wear quickly.

Easy to mount. Used with Dirt Racks on my KLR. Easy to use. Hold quite a bit. Inner bags are handy at the campground. The lower forward corners had worn through from the inner plastic stiffener and the outer pad rubbing. I used these on 2 BDRs. One bag got ripped by a dead tree limb and one was destroyed in a crash. Not super durable off road. More expensive brands like Mosko Moto and Giant Loop cost twice as much but you only buy them once.

  • Acerbis Rear Fender Tool Pack

    Jeremy in CO

Great for taking weigh out of the backpack.

This bag isn't very well though out. There are a couple of pouches, but those pouches have no closures so aren't the best place to keep anything you might want to keep. The main pouch (which does zip) doesn't have much capacity and won't hold tools that are particularly long, like my favorite tire irons, unless I really force them in there. It would be more useful if it were longer and lower profile, so you could fit better tools and not catch it with your boot when you mount the bike. Still, it takes weight out of the backpack. But I prefer the front fender pack that I have on the other bike.
