I moved to this solution after I lost trust with the short stems with the billet valve on top. Seems like too much resistance to let air flow into the tank. I also got tired of knocking them off when I fall. This is a far better solutionRead All Reviews

Installed on a 2009 KTM 300XCW (E-start) Needed to drill the petcock hole larger for the OEM petcock to fit (which should be done as precise as possible because the OEM only seals with a small O ring). However, after that minor change and some small tweaks to get the plastics to fit correctly (mostly just having a friend help line up holes), this tank fit very well. So far no leaking and the durability seems to be pretty good, although I have not long term tested at this point. The higher capacity has been incredible so far and definitely opens the doors for much longer rides. Also, this tank keeps the weight in the right location because there is no difference in the way the bike feels or rides even with the much large fuel capacity. That was my biggest worry when purchasing and why I chose not to go with other larger capacity models available. You can install this tank and ride exactly as you did with the OEM tank. Also, so incredible to be able to easily see my fuel level on a ride and is very reassuring as opposed to the black OEM tank. Negatives: the fuel cap isn't great and mine didn't come with a vent hose (but that was an easy fix); also, wish it came with a petcock as well just in case Does come with a new gas line/clipsRead All Reviews
