I like the brake line. But the protective sheath that covers the line and rubber grommets are not located in the correct location. Because of this my top rubber grommet has already started to show wear after one ride at the track which was only 1.5 hr. Would not recommend for a rm250 03 to 08

Great line compared to a blown out old stocker
Feels great and firm, though I can't say 100% it's an "upgrade" since I didn't compare to a new stock line. Definitely not worse, and quite well made!

Much needed.
Fit perfect. Looks great. No more mushy stock line. For the price it's worth every penny. Especially when you keep losing your front brake in a race.

Better Feel, didn't fix problem
Braided lines add better feel at the lever, however they don't fix bad brake pads or a glazed rotor. After changing the lines to these, I have more constant feel at the lever, but will be upgrading to sintered pads and an oversize rotor kit to try to keep up with brembos.

Great stopping power!
Provides improved stopping power and looks great. Depending on what bike you ride you probably need to get a new brake line holder for the smaller diameter brake line. This one comes with one but it didn't fit my yz/f very well and looked horrible.

what does CR style mean?
Erick V on May 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: CR style refers to the shortest direct routing of brake line around the inside of the fork guard directly to the caliper. Honda had the patent on this routing for many years so the other manufacturers could not route their lines this way...on those older bikes the brake line was routed all the way down the front of the fork guard and wrapped back around underneath the bottom of the fork lug and back up to the caliper resulting in a much longer line with more flex and more exposed to being damaged. After the patent expired around 2005 or 2006, the other manufacturers could route it in this way and that is how all the manufacturers do it now.
Is this supposed to come with new crush washers and banjo bolts? Or is it just the line?
Lukas M on Jan 25, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The one I purchased from RM came with a new banjo bolt and washers
Is this longer than the stock line to splitter?
Johnathan M on Oct 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Was pretty close to stock. No slack or bunching areas, without holding them up together I would think they’re about the same length as stock.
