The Tugger lift strap provides a convenient gripping point near the rear of your dirt bike. Most dirt bikes don't have a place to grab that won't toast your fingers or get your gloves all muddy. And sometimes you need to grab your bike in a hurry! No more groping for a place to grab-the Tugger is ready when you need it and stays out of the way when you don't.
    • This will fit nearly any motorcycle that uses two bolts to attach the seat to the subframe (17" max length between the bolts).
    • In addition, the Tugger fits nearly all full-size KTM models with the single under-fender seat bolt.
    • The Tugger is made with the finest materials available to look good and last.

Appears to be a nice strap
But it doesn't really fit my bike perfectly, and I had to get longer screws than was provided even though RM shows it fits my bike.
The strap itself appears to be very well made, just mounting to my bike required some finagling and it's still not the greatest fit since my plastics will get damaged to some degree when I actually use this thing.
For the reasons I describe I do not recommend for the YZ250FX because it isn't plug'n'play for this bike.

    Works great
Works great.. just adjust it to fit and trim off the excess material. Used it a few times on my Yamaha so far and really helps considering there’s NO place to grab on the bike

    Works but could fit better
Supplied hardware and spacers not really designed for 2019 YZ250FX. It fits but spaces the number plate outward a little as the strap does not fit outside the plates. Also could be a bit shorter. At full "tight" adjustment there is s

    Impressive little strap
Works very well for the KTM XCW, which doesn’t have many accessible grab points on the body. With durable material, and a clean install, both front and rear are highly recommend.

    Expensive But Worth It
Much better than the cheaper options. Comes with quality hardware for perfect fitment and the strap is thick so it doesn't lose its shape (the cheap ones fold in on themselves, making the strap turn more into a rope which then digs into your hand when you pull on it)

How would you hook this up to a single bolt KTM seat? (I have a 2016 350excf) It says it will fit most KTM's but that's a pretty vague description.
    A shopper on Mar 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: There are two 6mm tapped holes on the underside of each subframe end. The strap comes with longer bolts and "hat" bushings which allows the strap to be added to where the rear fender bolts to the subframe.
2019 KTM 250 XCW. The seat bolts are WAY recessed. Will this work for me? I’m worried about damaging the plastics.
    Andrew T on May 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You don't use the seat bolts, you use bolts on the underside of the subframe. Email us at [email protected] and I'll send you some pics.
Will this work on a 2009 ktm 300xc?
    jacob b on Mar 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: not a direct bolt, you'll need to attach it instead to the plastic after drilling holes. If you use the included metal bushings and put washers near them it might do fine. You'll never be able to pull super hard because it could damage the rear plastic, but it will still be useful no matter what. Put one on the front also if your purpose is having the strap for picking up the bike or lifting it during trail riding.
Would it fit on a ktm 300 2017?
    A shopper on Aug 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I JUST INSTALLED ON MY 2018 KTM 300 XCW
Will it fit to a KTM 250 TPI 2020 ?
    A shopper on Oct 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi, I have fitted the tugger lift strap onto 3 bikes so far with no problems. (Suzuki RMX450Z, Yamaha YZ250 and KTM 350EXCF)
The strap comes with various spacers which allows it to be fitted into different seat configurations so I would be surprised if it did not fit your bike.
By the way it is a god send when you are stuck and need to lift or move your bike. I would not go riding without one.
    Cheers Michael
