Hot rod water pump kits.
Do not waste time buying water pump parts separate! buy hot rods water pump kit, easy to install and reasonably priced. This way you will do your repair right the first time.
I and my shop like Hot rod water pump kits and everything else that Hot rod makes, I recommend hot rod water pump kits.

So far so good!
This water pump kit included everything I needed and was very reasonably priced. I hear mixed reviews on Hot Rods products, but personally they've always held up great for me. After hours of abuse, I'd certainly recommend this kit.

Came with what was needed
Got this for an 08 Polaris RZR800 and came with new water pump cover o-ring, the inside and outside seals on the pump shaft (oil seal and spring loaded water side seal), the plastic washer between the impeller and water side seal, and a ball bearing for inside the oil pump. doesn't include the stator housing gasket (need to remove to replace water pump seals)

wasn't sure what it all came with when i ordered it as i was building my own "rebuild kit" but it came with everything for the same price as getting OEM oil side and water side seals. so good value.

everything fit and went in great. These seals go in dry so make sure you don't touch the sealing surface or use oil during installation. they wear in to make a good seal.

overall would recommend to a friend.

Super convenient
Used these kits on 3 bikes now. It comes with everything required for most models. My 02 CR250 and 05 YZ250 had everything but my 05 KX125 was missing a bearing. Not a huge issue but I was surprised at first. Did not buy the KX125 kit from Rocky Mountain though so it may have been an issue related to an eBay seller. I’d recommend this product to anyone. It’s a lot easier to buy a complete kit than order everything individually from a dealer.

Hot rods water pump kit
Great kit, includes all you need. The tutorial is excellent and with basic skills your back up and running.
Durability and performance were rated at fours because this is a new install and we'll see how long it takes my son to blow it up.
Remember to order the clutch cover gasket and a trans/shaft seal is a good at idea as well.

Do I need the right side Case gasket when I do this for my 2006 crf 450r?
Saxton W on Mar 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, absolutely.
Does this kit come with the oil seal?
Sean D on Dec 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It did not include everything for a CRF450x, I needed to get a right case gasket to make this work, you can get the same kit from Moose that includes the right case gasket for cheaper than this one. . .
I have a 2004 Crf450r and my trans oil is a little milky and there's coolant leaking from my weep hole will this fix that? If so do I need to split my case to install this?
Jordan D on Feb 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Jordan,
The pump mechanical seal weep hole is designed to give indication of the pump mechanical shaft seal failure. It should relieve the water pump coolant from entering the transmission. Excessive leakage and the transmission vent can cause milky appearance as does air entrainment in the trans oil. This seal kit will fix the the water pump issues and the source of coolant reaching the wrong area. Check the trans vent for obstructions and replace the seal and you should be good to go. Man those bikes are quick, rode an 04' last week after a carb clean. Wow. ........You will be fine with this kit. Fixed my DRZ right up. pete.

Does this kit come with the impeller shaft?
Brendan L on May 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No only bearings and seals. You will have to do oem for that.
Does this come with schematics?
Clayton G on Jun 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, and from what I've found it's hard to come by schematics that actually help for my bike, CRF450x
Does this come with the installer collars?
Garrett R on Nov 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: @ Garrett R
This kit included everything I needed for my 03 WR450F unless you take the right side housing off to change the oil seal. I ended up needing a new water pump shaft which I elected to purchase OEM. I recommend purchasing the OEM gaskets. Mine tore removing the covers. Avoid the Tusk gasket all together... super cheap.

I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say installer collars.

If you lay the bike down on its left side with the kick starter facing up, you will not need to change the oil. The oil will stay in the engine and none will leak out.

Pay close attention to seal install position. Installing them backwards will result in oil in your radiator or leaking water out the relief hole once pressure builds.
my 2013 crf 150r is leaking oil from the front right crankcase will this fix it?
Lake P on Sep 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It is hard to say if this will fix your issue. I would suggest sending in pictures of the leak to [email protected] and we can further assist you.

I need a water pump seal for a 1989 Kawasaki Voyager 1200?
A shopper on May 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I checked through our inventory and it looks like we only have the OEM water pump seal. You will be able to locate this item by going to the OEM part tabs at the top of the page. Selecting your make and then entering your model. Then you will need to go to the Water Pump schematic. The seal is number 11009 on the schematic.
I have a 2003 yz250f and I was wondering besides this kit what els do I need like gaskets oil?
GABE W on Oct 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: @ Gab W, this kit included everything I needed for my 03 WR450F unless you take the right side housing off to change the oil seal. I ended up needing a new water pump shaft which I elected to purchase OEM. I recommend purchasing the OEM 5NL-15462-00-00 and the 5NL-15453-10-00. Mine tore removing the covers.
