  • Stegz Steg Pegz

    Pricey, but effective.

Very, very over priced item. These are very simple stamped aluminum parts with rubber pucks over molded onto a steel washer. I don't think there is $8 worth of material in them (guessing of course!). With that said, I really like them. Sounds stupid right.......after I just bashed them for being way to much money. After some small tweaking and bending of the aluminum to get the perfect fit for my 2014 KTM 300 XC-W, they work well. Grip the bike with your knees and your boots catch on the rubber pucks to prevent you from moving backwards on your bike when you get on the throttle. Helps to prevent arm pump. So, after several rides I decided to put taller pucks on to better stop my boots from going over the top of them. I went to McMaster Carr and bought like 10 of these type pucks for cheap. All I had to do was drill out the steel washer for the Steg Pegz bolt to fit through. They were easy to drill. Not a super hard steel washer. It's a bit of hassle to get at my air cleaner now because I have to remove the Steg Pegz, but not the end of the world. I was thinking about making my own, but figured for the time I would spend making them, just go ahead and buy them. If you are handy with metal cutting/shaping, I think you could pretty easily make these. Being in the middle of Covid-19, this might give you a project to work on.

  • Tusk Billet Race Foot Pegs

    stuart in CA

    Not durable for technical/hard enduro

Went through 2 pairs within 3 months. RM gave me a discount on 2nd but not free replacement. Likely it's just the aluminum isn't as strong as steel. Both failed where bolt goes through the aluminum just broke likely hit boulder. Went back to fastway steel and no problems for last year. Probably would be fine for moto or mild trail/enduro/dualsport.

    Eyup! Awesome!

Pricey but lightweight, wide and sharp!! Surprisingly the soles on my SG12’s hardly show any wear...I guess due to how many teeth there are spreading the pressure? Definitely recommend.
