Bleeding the brakes or changing the brake fluid is completed in a matter of seconds, even on your own: First replace the original bleeder screw on the brake calliper with this new bleeder screw equipped with a check valve. When changing the brake fluid or bleeding the system, simply release the screw on the check valve by a half turn and pump the brake fluid through the system with the brake lever. The valve prevents air from forcing its way back into the system on releasing the brake lever. Supplied with an anodised dust cap.

    Great Idea and Looks Nice
I purchased this item and the install was effortless and actually worked - the first time. Caution, it was my experience that if just a drop of brake fluid ends up inside the dust cap, it will pop off and you could loose it. I lost mine. Installed a rebuild kit in the rear caliper and the bleeder screw would not work. Removed it, inspected and cleaned with brake cleaner spray. Dried it and reinstalled. I could not bleed the air with this unit following the instructions closely. Reinstalled stock bleeder which by-the-way, is a lot heavier that this one and was able to bleed the caliper and back on the road. That was my experience just wanted readers to know. It really looks good on the bike, especially with the orange dust cap.

Not good for MX or Off road IMHO
This is a banjo bolt and not a Zerk fitting / bleeder valve. If you install this on your dirtbike front caliper you’re going to snap it off when you crash or fall over or hit a rock etc. You could install it on the rear caliper but it extends along the swingarm and once again a crash in which a rock hits it or falls into it is going to break it leaving you screwed.

Is this a banjo bolt replacement or a bleeder screw replacement?
    Eric N on Apr 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: RMATV should do up a quick video on the install and function of this. I think that there are too many questions and I bet alot of people have this in their "wish list" like me, but are afraid to order it until we can see how it installs and works. Then we'll all leave some reviews and these things will sell like crazy. We just need more info first.
Does this replace using a hose and syringe?
