  Ok the quality of both was very nice. I have a 1290 adventure, and was not 100% happy with the bag fit up on my bike. So I returned the bags, and modified the Tusk rack, and my old set of KTM rack so I could run my KTM set of panniers that came with my 950 adventure. I also did not like the width of the rack cause of the exhaust. I was able to narrow the modified set of racks by 7". I am happy with the set up, and I saved alot of money by reusing my hard panniers.

  The Tusk Tank Bag is just about perfect.

  This tank bag is well-designed and very well made! It has all the obvious features you'd expect like a map window on the top, etc. but it also has unexpected features that show it's been well thought out by people who use these, such as a loop on the rider side just for your sunglasses. This is an excellent bag and I cannot think of a single thing that I would change or add. If you're in the market for a tank bag your search is at an end.
