this is my third. have a 22mm and a 24mm for ogher bikes. jest bouthe the 27mm for a "new to me" bike. light enough to carry. long enough for real leverage. works great in the garage equally as well as on the trail.
All the horror stories you hear about changing dirt bike tires, but my first time doing it, with the help of this tire lever, it was a breeze. I would recommend having three of these and you'll be good to go! Well worth the investment!
Like the different size (11 mm and 12mm) on one tool, plus it can be used as a tire iron. Extremely light weight - good for long trips. Like the multi-use tools for dual sport riding - which you had more like this! It is expensive - but replaces 3 tools.
awesome for trips. I haven't used it to change a tire yet but,
you will not realize how light 3.5oz is until you hold this in your hand. I actually said WOW when I picked it up. It fits the axel nuts perfectly no slop. Smaller and light than the OEM combo wrench that came with the bike.
Machine this part was bought for: 2014 KTM 350 EXC-
I used it on my friend's rear axle which was (apparently) on a bit too tight. I stood on the wrench to try and get it free, which didn't work. Then I bounced a bit and the wrench snapped. The wrench had a bubble in the casting which created a weak spot.
I've got two of these, one for kato axle nuts and one that fits Yamaha axle nuts. Very strong and light weight, I don't notice them in my backpack at all. I've used them heaps of times to undo the nuts as well as to repair flats and change tyres. Highly recommended.
You wont believe how strong these levers are. I bought two of these, one for the front axle nut and one for the rear axle nut. Super strong and light weight, won't weight your toolbox down. Highly recommended.
The tire spoon on the 12-13mm wrench, has a small lip to grab a hold of the rim without pinching the tire. It works extremely well and is worth its weight. By far the best and most innovative design I've ever used in a tire iron. I would definitely recommend this product.
Carry two one for the rear axle because it's spoon is designed to remove the tire off the rim. The 12/13 spoon is designed to put the tire back on the rim WITHOUT PINCHING THE INNERTUBE. To remove the front axle nut carry an 14mm +/- combination wrench and a 10mm wrench for the pinch bolts.
