Great product! 2018.5 Husqvarna FC450 Rockstar Edit...

This is a really solid kickstand. Seems crazy to put a kickstand on an MX bike but let’s face it... I’m getting old and that stand is so conienent! Installation was easy once I figured it out... on the FC 450 you have to remove the frame cover to access the lip on the frame. See photos. At first glance I thought they sent me the wrong part.

I installed both sides in less than five minutes. These have a bigger footprint and add wayyyyy more grip.

    Solid stock replacement.

Really solid replacement. Just be aware that if you are on supermoto wheels this will be a little on the long side.

    No good for trails

Overbuild is nice, think twice if you ride hard and fast though. I put this on an ‘09 KLR and it was great until we did 800 miles through the Moab desert in Utah. The spring isn’t strong enough to hold the stand up and out of the way for hard and fast trail riding. I could feel it drop down and catch on rocks and the trail. If you’re mostly slab and fire roads you should be fine, but if you like to get after it on the trails don’t waste your money.
