I purchased the 4.7 US GAL IMS Safari Tank from RMATVMC a couple of months ago (in the winter) and I imported it into Canada. The price offered by RMATV/MC was the best I found, including from the manufacturer. I bought the 'natural' version so I could see the fuel level in the tank. Yes, the blue one would look better on the bike. Installation was easy - using the online photos provided by IMS, using the printed one would make it almost impossible. I had one phone call to IMS to confirm the lack of a 'canister' on my machine, and the phone support was excellent, short, and sweet. Why did I give the 'Value' only 4/5? I have struggled to bring myself to put a larger tank on my WR250R since I bought the motorcycle because of the price of all options out there. It is an expensive purchase, no matter how I rationalize it. The tank holds 18 litres from empty (4.5 US gallons, 4 Imperial - Canadian - gallons), not quite the 4.7 US gallons advertised (close enough for at least part of a cigar I suppose). It fit absolutely perfectly on my motorcycle IF IT WAS STOCK, but my radiator guard needed to be modified (shaved a bit) and I placed some foam between it and the gas tank to protect against rubbing on the tank - this is not a flaw of the IMS tank as such, but if they'd molded that wing just a cm further out, then the fit with the common modification of a rad guard would not cause an issue. For the price paid, I think that the part should fit a WR250R with the radiator guard without the need to shave, insulate, or modify anything. No leaks, no plastic grunge on the tank mold lines. The 'Tee' connector seems to me to be a bit 'cheap', but I didn't break it installing it in the vacuum line. To answer my question, "yes". No more range anxiety for me.Read All Reviews
