My 450 takes 1.1 quarts, which is a little more than 1000cc. If you fill it up all the way to the spout that's the perfect amount. Just be careful when pouring it, but this takes the guess work out and saves time by not having to pull the dip stick and add just a tad amount several times.
Good for measuring larger quantities of fluids, but maybe not for exact amounts.
I bought it as I was redoing my CRF forks and tweaking the shim stacks. Pulled the NIB Polisport out to measure some fork oil and decided I couldn't get it down to the nearest 5 cc as I wanted. So I opted to measure a couple of quantities in my 25-yr old Ratio-Rite.
I sure it will come in handy changing crank and tranny fluids later.
