Great chain for a weekend rider
Gold completely wore off chain after about 8 races on rmz250. The chain is wide and rubs a little, seems to have a lot of drag. But after your first adjustment you will not have to adjust again. Great price! Would be a great for someone who doesn’t spend a lot of time on their bike or put it through to much abuse.

ITs a chain
Installed on a 2003 LTZ 400. It did stretch over the first ride as I had figured, but is still working fine after the first 100 miles we put on it.

Good chain
This is the 2nd Primary drive chain I have bought. I have a few hundred miles on the chain and have yet to have to adjust it, like some higher priced chains I have used. I bought this chain to put on my son's bike.

Primary drive chain
Don't waste your money on the big name chain brands. This chain lasts just as long and is half the price

Absolute screaming best deal on chains
I get 20,000 miles or more of abuse on a KLR650 on these chains. Fantastic quality, very durable, and the sprocket and chain deal is an absolute screaming zonker of a bargain.

I like the gold since it inspires me to clean the chain more often. They have a black version if you're more a low-key sort.

Is the master link rivet or clip style?
Tommy T on Nov 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This includes a clip style master link.
I have an 05 KTM 525 exc. I run 14/52 will 520x120 be sufficient or will I need more links?
Jacob G on Oct 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You will need at least a 520x122 chain. Your stock size rear sprockets are 14/48 so since you went up 4 teeth in the rear, you will add 2 links for every 2 teeth you add. Your stock chain size is a 118 so you will add 4 links since you added 4 teeth to the rear.
Does the chain include a master link?
A shopper on Oct 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the master link is included.
Does the chain include a master link?
Bill H on Oct 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the master link is included.
I am getting a 13/48 set up, will the 108 link chain work on a 00' kdx 220?
Rebecca N on May 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the 108 chain size will fit on this machine with the sprocket sizes.
I have a 2016 kx450f with a 13/53 ratio. What size of chain do I need?
Gunner T on May 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Where your rear sprocket is 3 teeth bigger than your stock sprocket size you will need to go up 2 teeth on your chain size which will be a 520x116.
I just got around to putting on my new chain, Does It come with a master link? opened the package and theres no master link...
Alex S on Nov 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hey Alex, i have been using this chain for 8 years great chain and the best value out there. All my boxes have had a master link in the box. Sounds like human error and you drew the lucky (or unlucky) box. I always make sure I have a spare master link in my tool pack. Chuck. Colorado KT 300.
Does this include grease for the o-rings, when installing the masterlink?
Bailey A on Jan 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: From what I recall, everything is well covered in grease including master link. No extra grease provided.
Was told o/x ring chain will rob power from a 125 2 stroke. Any truth to this?
michael a on Feb 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Technically, the sealed chains do have a little more friction than the non-sealed chains. Will you notice it? Probably not. If your a trail rider, the ease of maintenance on the sealed chains is probably worth it.
Hello, this 520x108 chain for my wr250r with 14/49 tooth gear setup is too short of length. How would I add a couple links to my chain and where to buy the couple links?
A shopper on Nov 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I personally would not do that you'll have two master links to close together tried it before did not work I will just get a longer chain from Rocky Mountain Enter an answer to this question.
Will this be long enough for 13/51 on 2013 crf450r if not what size should I run on sprocket size?
CLAYTON L on Mar 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If you are u sure of chain length needed just order the longest size available then cut to length. The risk of buying too short of a chain is not worth the couple dollars you'd save.

Write down what your final length is after cutting then you'll know what to buy next time.
I have a 2004 suzuki z400 with 13/40 will this work?
trey b on Dec 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: i know that stock is around 96 links i always buy longer and cut to fit, maybe 110 link. i run this chain on my sons bike and mine it barely stretches at all and last a long time highly recommend this chain, the best for the money
DOES This come with a master link?
joshua a on Mar 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes.it comes with master link.just need to cut it to fit with a chain breaker
Does it come with a master link included if needed to shorten?
A shopper on Feb 22, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes it does come with 1 master link. Great chain for the money. You will replace counter shaft sprocket a few times in the life of the chain. I use a Rental front and a SupersproX rear.
Im changing my back sprocket by adding one tooth to 49. Will the 520x116 chain still work?
Jonathan O on May 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: what kind of bike ? I have ktm 500 and the adjuster on the axel rotates ,, Ck and see if yours does if so it should work on one side
Will this primary drive 520 orh xring chain fit my yz250 without rubbing?
A shopper on Jul 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Its not the brand that dictates rubbing, its the size. You’re a 250 2 stroke so it came stock with a 520 chain, if you get a 520 chain it will run the same as a stock one. The sizes are numbers like 420, 520, 530 ect. Get a stock size but different brand and it will be just fine. Every chain will rub in the rear chain guide, thats normal.
What length chain do I need for 13/50 gearing on a 2018 CRF450R?
John R on Jul 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You should be promoted to add your bike into the system to help you get the right size. The length will be determined by the user at installation. Meaning you will remove the links you don’t need. I only had one option for length, and it was plenty long.
? Is this a narrow chain like the did enduro chain
Amanda L on Jan 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but more water resistant. This is all we use and can get a whole season out of one chain with proper maintanance.
It says it fits a 2012 KX450f but will it rub the engine case. do I need a spacer. ?
Joseph K on Aug 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: nah dude, youll be good. send it.
If you have a CRF450R you may need part # 1006590001 to space the front sprocket outward?
Ryan S on May 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: When using a 520 o-ring chain a counter shaft spacer is needed.
I've heard that these o-ring style chains wear more quickly in the dunes. Is this true? If so what other chain would you recommend for my ltr 450?
Dylan B on Feb 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If anything the o ring chain would last longer with proper maintenance!
I went up 2 links on my rear sprocket and the stock size doesn’t fit with my adjustments all the way forward. Are extra links available for purchase anywhere? 2008 CRF450X
John A on May 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The best thing I can tell you is call Rmmc and ask there rep if they can sell you 1 link then use 2 masters to put it together. If they can't then buy another chain from them 2 links longer than what you need now and then use your chain breaker to cut yourself out the extra link. Now you have 1 chain that fits your bike and 1 that with 2 master links and the piece you cut out as a spare chain for next time. So if your bike stock was 114 and your 2 links short buy a 118 and cut 2 off that will make it a 116 and use the single center link that's left from cutting to add to your 114 with an extra master and now it's a 116
This chain supposedly fits my BMW G650GS, however most of the questions/reviews I see are specific to dirt bikes and other small displacement enduro bikes. Will this chain handle the power/torque of my 650 thumper?
Edwin L on May 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I installed it on my Can Am DS450. It is used only on the Oregon dunes, where sand , water and no lube ever .
But a 6 day trail tour in Richfield was added during break in of the chain.
As yet I have never adjusted it because of stretching.
Will this chain accomodate a 13 tooth front sprocket and a 52 tooth rear sprocket on a yz250x?
David S on Mar 26, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I would be happy to assist you. What year is your yz250x?
I have a 14/49 sprocket set up on my 2012 kx450f will this chain work?
Payton L on Sep 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This chain will work. Your chain size is a 520x114.
What is the weight?
A shopper on Jun 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I would say it weighs the same as your replacement. Good quality chain.
i got a 04 honda crf150f will this fit/work on it?
Brandon S on Apr 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it will fit your machine.
what chain length do I need for 14/49 sprockets on 2018 wr250r?
Mohsen D on Mar 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Stock on a '18 WR250F is a 13/50 with a 520x114 chain. I would use the same size chain for a 14/49 setup.
I have a 2015 Husqvarna FE350, stock set up is 14/45. I'm not sure of the stock chain size. Going to change to 14/47 what size chain do I need?
A shopper on Mar 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You will need to order a 520x120 chain size.
I have a 2004 Yamaha YZ 250f that will have a 14 front and 50 rear sprocket, what size chain would work best for my bike?
Tyler M on Feb 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Your stock machine came with a 13 tooth front, a 48 tooth rear and a chain length of 520x112. You will need to order a larger chain where you are adding 3 teeth. I would suggest buying a 520x120 and then removing links to get your machine where you need or want it to be. I would test fit the item first before removing any links so that you do not remove too many and have to order another chain.
