ProTaper Pillow Top ATV grips have achieved a legendary status among ATV grips for a reason. It all comes down to the Vibrasonix pillow top on each grip combined with a gel-like surface compound. This combination reduces the vibration which is inherently transferred from the handle into the grips. The result is a softer feel, where the grips act as a cushion on each hand.
ProTaper has really figured out how to create comfortable ATV grips with the Pillow Tops, but that's not the only thing to get excited about. The surface compound is tacky and will keep your hand from sliding around on the grip, but the inner compound is also important, keeping the grip firmly in place on the handlebar. The Anti-Rip Tip is a separate compound from the rest of the grip and is designed for off-road rigors and built for longevity.
Aside from vibration reduction, another great thing about the Pillow Top hand grips is that they have a self-cleaning pattern. This means that when you're getting mud as high as your handlebar, you don't have to worry about your grips as they're designed to shed mud. The Pillow Top is also a little larger than standard grips. If you have oversized hands, you might find the ProTaper Pillow Top ATV grips to be even more comfortable.
When it comes to ATV hand grips, ProTaper has a real winner. If you think you're ready to handle an extra level of comfort, pick up a set of the ProTaper Pillow Top grips.
The ProTaper Pillow Top tri-density grip features an acoustically dampened palm area with an ultra-tacky compound that virtually eliminates vibration.
The perfectly designed Anti-Rip Tip ensures long grip life.
The ultra-bonding black inner core grabs the handlebar like a vise.
I recently needed new handlebars due to a crash. I thought I might as well get new grips because my current ones were nowhere near good condition, after many many hours of use. I bought these because they were cheap. I am highly satisfied with the product.
I starting using these years back and I have loved them. I am very picky with grips. It is one of the first things I change on everything I buy. I have tried a lot of different ones over the years and this is my go to grip. They are tacky, comfortable, and wear great.
These are my personal favorite! They do wear quicker than standard grips, that is the only reason for a 4-star rating. I also like the pillow top lights, they seam to last longer but absorb less. Either way I believe you'll be happy using them.
in my opinion these are the best grips on the market. I put them on everything! all my mates have swapped over to these now after riding with them, I recently put them on my dads farm ATV, he loves them too. I have tried many grips over the years, but these seem to have the best feel, grip, vibration resistance and durability.
These grips are great quality. The pillow tops give them a larger diameter which can help reduce arm pump and help absorb some of the shock from bumps. They tack up fairly well but they do tend to pack with mud which can make it hard to hold on to the bars.
Bought them for my little sisters quad, and she loves them! I had always ran them on my dirt bikes, and convinced her to let me buy these (instead of some pink ones), and they've been fantastic. I always recommend them to people!
Have pillow tops on all my bikes. It's all personal preference, but these grips reduce vibration on the hands making it easier to ride longer. There are probably better grips for maximum control, but I like these for enduro/trail riding.
I absolutely love this grips. Every quad and dirt bike I have ever owned got a set of these puppies right away. They take a lot of the vibration and harshness away that transfers from your handlebars to your hands and arms when riding(believe it or not). They are also amazingly comfortable. I swear by these grips, and will continue to put them on all my future offroad toys.
I bought a set of these grips for my Z400 last spring. Right off the bat, i realized how comfortable they felt. They are still comfortable after they're worn in a bit. They hold up better than the waffle style do and are 10 times more comfortable. I would recommend to anyone looking for new grips to buy these, especially from Rocky Mountain, they have fantastic service!
These grips are comfortable and yet make it easier to hold on. I have literally bought these of all of my quads and dirtbikes. I recommend the heavy pad ones and not the "light" because the light ones are on my 450 atv and they wear out from holding on.
I race XC in the east and the tracks throw everyhting at you. These grips have held up to the test and not to mention have really helped cut back on blisters. The regular last much longer than the lites.
