Replaces the stock kill switch or starter switch on all Motorcycles, ATV's and Minis that have a 30-32mm span between the clutch or front brake mounting bolts. The switch replaces the clamp that holds the clutch lever or front brake master-cylinder onto the handlebars. It eliminates one or two strap mounted switches completely from the motorcycle to make handlebar changes faster and easier. It also creates more space for handguards, lap timers and other handlebar mounted accessories. For those that ride electric start motorcycles, a second switch can be added to eliminate the stock start button. Installation is simple and explained in the enclosed instructions by splicing in two wires.

Had one since 2010
I've had one of these buttons on my WR250F for the starter button since 2010. Never had to do anything to it, always works.

will it work on a bike that is normally kick start?
A shopper on Nov 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It will work as a kill switch. Kill switches inhibit spark when you push them. It will not work as a starter button on a bike that is kickstart only, unless you install it and push the button as you kick the bike. Even then, it probably won't make the bike fire up any quicker ;)
Would this work with a 1980 RM125? The kill switch thats currently on it only has one wire.
Sean M on Apr 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This style switch will work, you will get a ground wire and a positive wire. The ground lead will be grounded somewhere on the frame, and the passive wire you will wire in where your existing wire is currently.
Can someone please send me the instructions? I haven’t done much wiring work and want to see how hard the job is first.

1. Parts List:

ITEM PART NAME DESCRIPTION QTY

1 Switch (normally open)Billet Aluminum (black or silver) 1

2 HardwareM6 x 1.0P x 20mm lg Socket Head Allen Screw2

3 HardwareM5 x 0.8P x 20mm lg Socket Head Allen Screw2

2. Installation:

a)Place Motorcycle on a secure bike stand.
b)Unscrew the stock kill switch fastener (or starter switch for electric start motorcycles) and remove off handlebar. Note: The ground wire on the stock Honda switch will not be needed as our aluminum body completes the grounding circuit.
c)Cut the wire harness assembly an inch or two from the switch and remove the switch. Note: Make sure you give yourself enough slack to easily twist the wire ends together when installing the new switch.
d)With a wire stripping tool, remove about 3/8 to 1/2 inch of plastic from the two wires coming out of the new billet kill switch, item 1, and repeat for the wire harness assembly.
e)Next pick the side of the handlebar you want to place your new switch on and install it using the new fasteners provided (item 2 or 3). Note: If installing on the brake side, re-route the switch harness accordingly.
f)Now mate one of the wires to one from the harness, twist together, bend parallel to the harness assembly and tape with electrical tape. Note: Either harness wire can be connected to either of the switch leads, no order is required. Repeat for the other wire, then tape the two together for a water tight seal.

3. Maintenance:

Periodically check the condition of the electrical tape and replace as needed.

4. Care and Cleaning:

Wash with soap and water.
