This Utility Jug is NOT a portable fuel container as described by ASTM, EPA, ARB or other state or federal agencies.
The Risk Racing EZ3 Utility Jug is exactly what the name implies. It is a 3 Gallon (10 Liter) Utility Jug that is simply easy to use. It has a triple handle design that is completely unique. The top handle and side handle are obvious, but it is the third fingertip handle at the front of the jug that comes in handy during the end of the pour. This triple handle design allows the user to carry and pour at any angle with comfort and control. Carry and pour with confidence knowing that the EZ3 is constructed from thick-walled, high-density, polyethylene plastic, ensuring it is durable enough to hold up to any fluids you may transport.
The EZ3 also solves the common problem of liquid spilling from the vent hold, which is commonly placed entirely too close to the cap and spout. Risk placed the vent on the EZ3 on the very back of the top handle, keeping it far from the main cap ensuring plenty of venting without the spills.
The shape and features make this my fuel can of choice. But when mixing 2-stroke pre-mix, I use a 6 gallon jug which when full is really heavy and difficult to pour, so I transfer the mix to the Risk 3 gallon jug for fueling and transportation. No spills is less mess and much safer! Plus I like the small footprint and the optional holder. My only complaint is that you must purchase a hose separately, so I knocked the value down a bit.
Nicely sized can, especially for those that have limited space to transport a fuel can.
The handles make life much better when fueling up.
The vent is nicely located, but there is one problem with it. The can has a brass insert which is really nice, but the vent is just cheap plastic and you can't snug it up enough to prevent seepage. The way the vent cap is designed (see pic) when you try to tighten it down the prongs compress inward and it jumps a set of threads, loosening up again.
The mounting plate is a nice feature although I haven't bolted it to anything yet.
