Worked well for me
This mount worked very well under the stock roof on my machine. It is up out of the way, and doesn't take up any storage space in my box on the back. Good to know I have a chance of putting out a fire should my machine - or someone else's - burst into flames.

Great well made product!
I chose the Savage mount in hopes that the design would help in reducing vibration while driving. The design does exactly what I wanted, I do not hear vibration at any speed or on any type of terrain. I have it mounted above our heads on a cross bar since we have alot of room above us, for the fact that it would be reachable in a accident and had a fire while still strapped into our seats. My only gripe was the standard hose clamps just seemed a little cheap compared to the rest of the design but I am sure they are stainless and will do the job but was the only reason it did not get 5 stars!
