Ford and Seal protection
Cant beat these. They can be a be tricky to get on, but there is no better way to protect your seals and forks. I would recommend hand washing them after muddy rides. Silty deposits build up on the inside.

They fit but are a little tight for my forks.
These keep dirt away from my fork seals flawlessly but are a little tight getting them around my forks.

Good for Snow Bike forks
I got the 13" long version of these and they work good on my snow bike. I installed them lower on the fork than recommended to cover and protect the forks.

Shock Sox Fork Seal Guards
Installation on my KX was challenging, i had to install my fork protector guides over the fork seal guards. You need to keep them clean on the inside regularly or mud and dirt build up and it gets trapped there. Threads came off on the outer material.

Not on my bike
Tried these out for a few rides. Did not like what happened. Dirt, sand, grit, and water seemed to get trapped IN the guards. They were mounted correctly. Tried a couple times, same results. Fast shipping from RMATV/MC.

Cheap Insurance
These keep my sliders spotless. The seals on my KTM are over 8 years old and over 4,000 desert and mountain miles on them with no leaks. I remove the Shock Soxs after every ride and toss them in the washer with the rest of my gear. The first set lasted 6 years before getting a small tear.

I have a set on another bike that recently started leaking and the Shock Sox absorbed a lot of the oil keeping it off my brakes and letting me finish a 120 mile loop.

I run them on all my off-road toys.

Shock Sox on Super T
After speaking with Shand HIMSELF and getting the low-down, ordered from Rocky Mtn ATV.
Great customer service on both accounts. Amazingly easy install, forget about the comments about cutting off some sort of metal or plastic ring, there is none. Got the blue to match my blue '12, and the color is very close.
The only thing I'd have liked better, if there were a Left and a Right version...one of each in the package, vs them being identical to each other.....having to do with wrapping consistently towards the front or back, and logo placement,

Do you have to remove the forks to install these?
A shopper on Nov 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Simple answer, No!
They simply wrap around your fork tube & have 3 large Velcro tabs that attach around shock sox. They are easy to put on , easy to remove for cleaning.
Which ones work the best? The long 13" or the shorter 6" ones"
brian r on Jan 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I ride a 2015 KTM ADV R 1190 and had the miss-fortune of butterfly/grasshopper guts drying onto my shock lower and damaging the fork seal causing it to leak even after trying to clean it out with the aftermarket devises. After a $350 repair bill (not including labor for taking the fork off/on the bike - travel to the city dealership, repair time 10 days of riding season, etc.), I decided to try the 6" Shock Sox, that was 10,000KM ago and never had the problem since. Highly Recommended!
I have a CRF230 03' are the 6" better or 13"?
Cortland B on Mar 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: 6 inch version is fine, but the longer ones provide more protection to fork tubes.
CAN YOU USE IT WITH A HOLE SHOT DEVICE?
Sharon G on Jul 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can! You might have to work the fitment but I have them with my hole shot on my Yamaha!

is the price for the pair ?
A shopper on Nov 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the price is for a pair of fork seal guards.
Do you have a shock Sox for victory cross country? Not on your list!. Thanks
bob B on Aug 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We do not carry these specifically for a Victory Cross Country as they are generally used in dirt applications, but they do have an option in the drop down menu to select the size and color if you know the size of your fork tubes.
